Set Methods:

1.Screen display Current Measured Voltage Value automatically after power ON.

2.Press SET button enter into set mode and the first bit will keep flashing. The first parameter set is the Upper Limit Voltage Value.

3.Press ENTER button to set first bit value. Its set range is 0~9 as your needs.

4.Press SET button again to switch select the next bit and press ENTER button to change value.

5.Press SET button at 3rd time to switch select the last bit and press ENTER button to change value.

6.Then then first parameter ‘Upper Limit Voltage Value’ has been set.

7.Press SET button at 4th time to set next parameter the Lower Limit Voltage Value in the same methods. Note: its value needs less than the Upper Limit Voltage Value.

8.The third parameter is to set the Voltage Verification Value. Its set range is -0.5V~0.5V.

9.The 4th parameter is to set the Display Screen Automatically Turns OFF Remaining Time Value. Its set range is d-0 ~ d-9 which means after 1~9minute, the screen will turn OFF. Note: d-0 means the screen will keen ON all the time.

10.The 5th parameter is to set the Relay Triggering Status ‘ON H’ or ‘ON L’.

10.1.‘ON H’ : Relay output will turn ON if the Current Measured Voltage Value is more than the Upper Limit Voltage Value. Relay output will turn OFF if the Current Measured Voltage Value is less than the Lower Limit Voltage Value. It can be applied to battery discharging mode.

10.2.‘ON L’ : Relay output will turn ON if the Current Measured Voltage Value is less than the Lower Limit Voltage Value. Relay output will turn OFF if the Current Measured Voltage Value is more than the Upper Limit Voltage Value.It can be applied to battery charging mode.

11.Automatically enter detection status after set parameters and screen stop flashing.

12.At normal monitoring status, screen can display time for relay keep ON status in minute after press ENTER button. Stop timing when relay turn OFF. Restart timing if relay turn ON again. Keep press ENTER button about 3second can clear time.

So this worked great mostly it started my device worked great until put to its potential then the light stayed on but no power the relay must have done

The feature they mention is that the working voltage for this device is separate from the measured voltage for triggering. That's nice, but nowhere nearly as nice as having relay contacts completely separate from both. With simpler controllers, the charging voltage is dumped in with the working and measured voltage, and higher voltage from a solar panel will boost the local voltage and create false triggering. You can set triggers higher on those to compensate, but the right way to fix it is to separate the relay contacts from all of that. This device is easy to configure and works splendidly as a charge controller, solar or otherwise.
