My 170K mile VW 1.9 turbo creates very hot oil. I use synthetic but left oil change go 1000 beyond my usual 3000 mile change and the oil level to the bottom mark of the dipstick; then oil level warning came on; then low oil pressure warning came on. Drained oil; ran engine cleaner through; new oil/new filter; still pressure warning. New oil level sensor; still pressure warning. Installed this new OEM oil pressure sensor; YES! Warnings no more!
