It sizes a little long. I'm 5'8 / 175cm and the arms arrive over my knuckles in the S size. It's useable but could be cut a little shorter for the right fit. If you're small, avoid this jacket, you'll be swimming in it.Otherwise it's a nice jacket, sober yet stylish. It's not a super warm jacket, but it does block the elements well and if you intend to use it for active sports it's the right level of warmth. Because it's sized large you can also add an extra layer under. All in all happy with the purchase, would be a 5/5 if the arms were cut to size.

Purchase date: March 12th 2024Description of the product's defect: broken zipper - this coat has been worn a total of 3 times. My son wore it snowboarding 2 days in March and one day in December (24th) and a few of the zipper teeth broke causing the zipper to come completely off. We then had to purchase a waterproof shell that he could wear under the coat in the hopes that he would stay dry while we snowboarded our second day. This jacket was literally only worn a total of 3 days and is less than a year old and the zipper completely failed. I emailed Volcom’s warranty department and have yet to get a response. I expected more from such a well known brand. To say I’m disappointed in the quality and customer service is an understatement. I DO NOT recommend this jacket or this brand.

I bought two of these jackets, one for my son and one for myself. I can’t be more happy with my purchase. The price was a steal (about 40% off) compared to what I would have had to pay for it at the local retail store in Singapore. I was concerned that the sizing might be different online compared to what I tried at the store but that turned out to be a non-issue. It may not be the latest seasons design but as beginners to snowboarding, we were looking for affordability over style. That said, the designs look pretty evergreen to me.I bought a Large as I am on the bulkier side (42 - 44cm chest) for a South East Asian Chinese and it fit me perfectly with enough room to layer up with a mid layer if needed.
