It's not OEM so if you have to factory reset your TV it won't help with that process after the factory reset is finished. But once the TV is set up the remote works perfectly.

Works great! I previously purchased the non-voice controlled replacement after our puppy chewed our original one but wanted to upgrade to the voice control feature. Virtually no set up, just put in the batteries.

I recently bought this after we just got a brand new TV and remote but my kids got ahold of the remote & it got caught in the couch and essentially I was unable to fix/repair it with the tv. I ordered this on whim, it was affordable enough to just order and HOPE it worked with our tv. It arrived quickly, good quality with everything we need and use right on the remote, pairing was basically instant I don't believe I even had to do anything special except put batteries in and turn on the TV! We have had this for a few weeks now with no issues! I'm very pleased and would recommend!

My Fire tv unit is an older model (pendant type, purchased in 2017). Multiple attempts to pair this remote with that Fire tv were unsuccessful.I purchased another identical remote and was able to install it to my other, more modern Fire tv device in another room. That remote functions very well. I believe the issue is not with the returned remote, and I have purchased a new Firetv to replace the older Fire tv. If I am ever in need of another replacement remote I will select your unit again.
