The unit will not read vibration unless you shake the device or cable🤬

I have upgraded this review from 1 star to 4 stars. When the seller finally contacted me back, they have shipped the missing RS-232 Cable and provided me a link to download the software. If the listing still says that it supports RS-232 and USB, clarify that it also includes the cable. I did not pursue the Bluetooth Option if that is still mentioned.The unit works as described. it is a very basic unit but it does make measurements.

Works as advertised. I needed it for a single purpose/one time use application so it worked ok for me. If you're working with aluminum or stainless casings the magnet only sensor attach is limiting. the cable is much too short for working around larger unshielded equipment.
