This vlogging kit is an excellent starter set, offering plenty of accessories that are often sold separately. The lights are easy to attach to the stand, which I found super convenient, and their quality is perfect for close-range vlogging. I also love the compact size, included carry case, and the variety of cords and adapters for all the accessories—super functional for the price.After using it regularly for a month, I’ve noticed some durability concerns. Twice, I’ve heard a crack and seen small plastic pieces fall from the stand. While the stand still works fine, it does make me question its long-term durability. That aside, this kit is a great value for beginners, especially for the accessories included.

I wasn’t expecting much for the price and the amount of items it included. I was shocked when I took it out of the package. The tripod is compact, well built, and well thought out. It compacts to a bit longer than 1 foot. I can almost touch my finger to my thumb when I grab around it. I can put my phone on it without removing the pop socket but it is MUCH more secure removing it.It takes a bit of pulling to extend. It isn’t like my traditional tripods. It does feel very tight and secure when extended. It also has a screw to put a camera on it, but I wouldn’t trust anything more than a point and shoot. I think a DSLR would tip it over.Every thing folds together nicely. There aren’t any gaps in the legs when collapsed. When not in use, it is very compact. The head seems to pan quite smoothly. There is a trigger button on the handle. I haven’t tried that yet and probably wont use it since I prefer my apple watch.I wasn’t expecting much from the microphones. I was wrong. I have an iPhone with a lighting port so I just plugged the adapter into the lightning port and the receiver into the adapter. The microphones paired immediately with the receiver. I tested it on the memo app and it sounded as good as my AirPods or the phones microphone. You won’t see any big name YouTubers use this, but it is perfect for the beginner.The additional lights are actually made to attach to the phone head. The configuration is actually genius. While you will probably just use one at a time, it comes with two. That will allow you to have a backup.The bag is also well thought out. There is a pouch that easily holds all the accessories that closes by a simple draw string. The actual carry case for the tripod is great. It has a clasp that slides up and down the string to hold the carry bag securely closed. The bag holds both the tripod and the accessory bag. When everything is securely closed, the string is attached to the end of the bag to make it easy to toss over your shoulder and carry hands free.I’m extremely impressed with this setup. If you have a budding YouTuber, this would make a GREAT gift to give them.
