Works great, I have it all set up now and it’s really quiet with a carbon filter. Very light compared to other 4” inline fans.

A lot of my grow equipment comes from Vivosun. They are by far the most reliable affordable supplier of grow equipment out there and I have never had an issue with any of their products. This little 4 inch inline fan comes with a fan control nob (something that some fans do not have, and that you have to buy separately). This is super helpful and is one less thing I need to buy. I'm really happy with the power of this fan, it moves air and it does so quietly without a lot of noise or vibration. The bang for the buck here is great, and I'm really happy with this fan.

This fan at 195 CFM is about twice what a average bathroom fan does. I'm not suggesting that this would make a bathroom fan just giving you a sense of the volume of the air that it moves. It's very good directions with the exception of no measurement of sound. Perhaps this is due to the fact it has a variable speed knob on it and so therefore the sound is variable. It does not seem inappropriate for the CFM that moves. I will use it as a gentle exhaust in my wood shop to keep the dust/mostly vapors from drifting up the steps to the upstairs so the variable speed will be very useful as I fine-tune it. There is no filter on it

The only part of this fan I don't like is that it requires mounting to the wall or ceiling, and the controls are fixed on one side of the mount. This makes it less than ideal for use inside grow tents. It needs to be mounted to the wall outside the tent.That said, once it is mounted and plumbed it works great. It moves a LOT of air on max, but doesn't stall out on very low mode. The noise isn't bad for the amount of air, and the fan and housing are all heavy duty and feel very durable. If you have a place to bolt it down, this makes a great addition to your growing setup!

This 4" fan is perfect for growing in grow tents. I previously had a 6" inline fan that was way to powerful and was sucking in the tent walls and starting to bend the poles. Installing this 4" in place of that resolved the issue. This fan has a lower cfm that is more appropriate for my 4x4 tent. The build quality of this fan seems good. The blades turn freely and evenly without too much noise. This fan also works on a fan dimmer controller. It also works well with a simple analog timer. Overall, very pleased with this little fan.

Right out of the box I was impressed with the quality of the fan and knob. I use a 6 inch in my larger tent and this 4 inch fan is compact but gets the job done for those small tents. Hooks seamlessly with my carbon filter and ducting!
