Really easy set up. Temps right on.Wish back light stayed on for easier viewing or button to turn on was at top of unit so not necessary to pick up unit to push.

Have bought a few of these because they are my favorite among the ones I've tried. Nice large numbers and large display, high contrast LCD. Pretty long battery life, even with rechargables. The sensor batteries especially last a long time (I use lithium so I don't need to change them much, lasts well longer than a year). Nice to see the humidity levels inside and outdoors.Up to three channels for multiple sensors. It can progress through each sensor, showing the value, then moving to the next. Or you can set each one to show just a single sensor, and flip through by touching the screen. Very functional touchscreen. Nice blue light when you want it. Seems like good accuracy.I keep one in the fridge too, and put a sensor down on the bottom shelf in the back. That gives me two temperature measurements so I can keep it good and cold but without freezing stuff in the back.I don't like the white color. It visually dims the display effect. So I put some black gaffer tape along the edges to make it completely black. I think it looks much better this way, and also gives it a nice grip texture. I think they should make them flat black not white.Great product, have had a few for several years, no failures. It's the only kind I use now.

I purchased this digital thermometer kit (base plus three additional sensors) during July prime days. By mid-August it required battery changes in two sensors, one of which was indoors. By October the base required new batteries. By November the third sensor required new batteries, as did the first two sensors - again. In addition, the base’s screen no longer lights up when you tap the light button, and it also won’t scroll through readings for the three external sensors. Don’t bother purchasing this, it isn’t worth the hassle unless you own stock in Duracell.EDIT: I should add that I own several Vivosun products, all of which have been great, which exacerbates my disappointment in this item.

I used this to check the humidity in the crawl space. I was debating encapsulating the area and wanted to check humidity levels. I’ve spent t lot of money replacing joists under the house and want them protected (especially from a white wood eating mold). Using these I was easily able to watch humidity levels in three areas of the crawl space and it was obvious from the results I needed to encapsulate the space among other things. Spent a bunch more money encapsulating the area. Readings are now in the normal level range.Cons: Supplied batteries die quickly. I use Copper top Duracell. If the location is hard to get to, I'd put good batteries in immediately.Pros: Simple to set up. Do that before you install. Reception works perfectly. I was surprised at this. Accurate. Easy to understand. Reasonably priced.

Works just as described if not better. The weather channels are always centered in populated areas and I don't live there. This lets me know exactly what the temperature and humidity is in my backyard. It don't get no more accurate than that!It probably took me about 3 minutes to set up, and most of that was reading the instructions and paperwork that came with it. Really I think all you have to do is plug in the time and time zone. After that you just have to find the right spot to place to hang the outside part. No direct sunlight, no harsh winds. It's more or less a matter of common sense.It's not big and ugly so it usually sits on our coffee table. We had a lesser version of this that only told the temperature. It finally went after about 7 years so we got this and we're both extremely pleased (the HB and me). No more going out over or under dressed because we didn't take the humidity into account. What a difference that makes!I highly recommend this. If need temperature and humidity for both indoors and outside, this is your baby. Plus... you can buy extra units (three total) to put in other places. I'm in the process--well, I will be in winter--of trying to determine whether I should store paints and even extra canned food in my three season sun room or my garage. I'm not sure which spot is less likely to freeze. No use for frozen paint, even for touch ups, and frozen soup just doesn't taste good. You know?Great little set and very fairly priced!

Happy with this device, seems to be accurate within a degree. I have three thermometers in my grow tent now and all three of them show a different temperature varying no more than a degree. I have to assume the analog is the most accurate, however this device is great for monitoring the temperature and humidity of my grow space without having to open the tent. Might get another to replace the aging sensor i have outside
