I bought this to replace one that came with my Cuisinart immersion blender which was thin plastic that cracked and broke after a few uses. This container is sturdy with very visible measurements on the side.

Size and 'ribbed' mixing design works well. The container itself feels a little cheap-thin guage and lighter duty than i expected for the price. It's certainly rigid, good size and marries well with the blender. Would have been nice if the lid had an integrated pouring spout option.

This holds the same amount as a quart mason jar, but is bigger because it has vertical indentations, which makes it too big to hold securely and comfortably. The opening is the same, so there's really no advantage of this over a mason jar. And the plastic seems cheap.

I did everything I could not to buy this, but wasn't happy with anything I used. This contains the splatter nicely. I don't use the lid, so can't really speak to that. Overall I would buy again.

Having a hand held blender along with the Vitamix this is great!! Using a handheld immersion blender it fits with great ease inside this container and great for mixing gravy’s etc! Thank you

Heavy duty plastic high quality plastic. Some reviews complained of plastic bits being cut off on bottom of jar . My Vita Mix immersion blender has a shroud around the blades so blades never touch bottom or sides of jar. I checked to make sure blades would not cut bottom of jar. Satisfied with my purchase. Exactly what I was looking for. Satisfied with lid.

I just bought the vitamix immersion blender which I LOVE and can't say enough good things about. I then ordered these jars thinking they would be a useful add on. I was immedidiately disapointed because they are think plastic and not at all the quality I was expected. I requested a return and was provided a label but had to pay the shipping which was $30! This was just to send them from BC to Quebec. So, there is no point returning them and I am essentially out the money I spent on them. I do not recommend this product at all and very disappointed with the customer service.

works great. With my arthritis, the jar is large around, and difficult for me to hold while blending. But that is easy enough to fix. I will get some non slip pads to place under it.When I was using, I raised the blender up to high in jar, and did splash on my counter. But probably just beginner and not pro yet.

This is exactly what I expected--a storage container that I can also use as a blending container for my Vitamix Immersion Blender. The container is sturdy and has a tight-fitting lid. In fact, the lid can be quite difficult to remove if it's tightened very much. The container is roomy (32 oz/960 ml) and of sturdy quality. It's useful for blending soup, beverages, or other items and then putting the lid on it for storage. No transfer of containers is necessary. The shape is designed for an immersion blender and facilitates better blending action and minimal splash out. It's nothing fancy, but it's just what I needed for it's intended use. I purchased two of them. They're a bit pricey but I don't expect to need to buy any more. They seem very durable.
