Been using this for some time now to make various soups and such. Definitely a solid feeling blender that feels like it will last for quite some time. I really enjoy the buttons and how it's set up to change settings. It's easy to clean too which is nice when adding anything to the cooking process. Overall it feels like a well made and thought out item.

I love the power of the blender that gets stuff blended quickly and smoothly. I've had it for over 2 years now and it seems like it will last a long, long time. The blades are sharp and have a protective, rubber-like housing that prevents a blender bowl or cup from getting scratched. My only complaint is that some of the mix is forced into the protective housing and you need to clean deep into the tight pockets of the "rubber" with each use so as not to trap food in there.

Powerful immersion blender. Used for sauces, smoothies, salsas. If you can, get the attachment for chopping as well, it is worth the few extra dollars. I generally have it at level 1 to 3, not even close to full power. However, it is great to have the extra power when needed. Also, it is actually relatively quite as well, it produces a lower frequency noise instead high pitched whine or motor sound, a lot more pleasant to the ear than some of the cheaper alternatives.

I love this, day 1. Already made a smoothie with frozen blueberries, kale and kefir, it powered thru the frozen berries and tough kale with no problem, in a single stainless steel cup - super smooth result. Mainly interested in making soups and blending in the pot (tomato, butternut squash, potato, carrot, pumpkin), and dips like hummus and artichoke. Love that it won't scratch my pots. This replaces a cheaper immersion blender that was returned after sucking liquid up into the shaft toward the motor. The Vitamix is much quieter and much better at liquefying fibrous kale than that one. Cleanup is super easy, just detach the blade wand, run under water to rinse, spray Dawn Powerwash on it, quick brush scrub, rinse and you're done. Happy with this handheld- saved me $200+ more for a stand blender, much easier to clean. It has the same blade as a fullsize Vitamix blender. Better for small spaces also.

Loving that it doesn’t leave scratches on my dishes. Functionality and quality is top notch. The grip design and size along with the versatility is exactly what I needed. It also blends nicely and fast. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have had another , less expensive , but main stream brand immersion blender for a couple of years. The cord started coming loose immediately and the only speed that worked was high. This one is amazing, at low speed it does not bog down and the higher speeds are excellent. It is little heavier but still easy to hold with one hand, the cord is sturdy and longer. The black rubber feet is a great idea to not mar your pans. Half price on black friday made this a must have kitchen tool.

I've wanted an immersion blender for years and finally decided to go for it. I did my research and decided on the Vitamix. It has exceed my expectations and I'm very happy with my choice. The blender performs exactly as it does in the video provided (watch it!) and blends very smoothly and thoroughly. I've made a few smoothies (frozen banana, ice, berries, yogurt, spinach...even carrot and apple with the skin on). It came out great each time. I also made a pureed soup right in the pot which was extremely easy (see photo). The Vitamix churned through the cooked bacon, tomatoes, onions and carrots with ease and my pot was still pristine. You don't need to worry about anything damaging your pot. The sturdy black plastic portion surrounding the blades provides complete protection. Clean up is very simple. The lower blade portion twists off for rinsing. I like the fact that it's comprised of only two pieces. The motor is somewhat heavy, so if you are looking for a lightweight immersion blender this may not be right for you (if physically holding about two pounds is a challenge). However, the weight is well worth it for the powerful and efficient motor. The design was well thought out, it's user friendly, and it more than does the job. I personally didn't want any accessories (it doesn't come with any) and the clutter of additional pieces I may not use. If you have a wide mouth jar or glass (three inches or more) you're good to go. I highly recommend this Vitamix blender (and no...nobody asked me to say this...it's just really awesome).

Wow! This is a fabulous immersion blender true to the Vitamix brand!! I’m a happy owner of a Vitamix Pro 750 (used daily since 2012). This little, cute immersion blender has so much power! My boyfriend presented it to me as a Christmas gift but knew better than waiting until then to present it to me (because I already used it yesterday to make us pasta sauce from whole tomatoes, shallots, fresh basil and spices. It took me 45 seconds on level 2 to make dreamy sauce.I’m a power smoothie person and knew the true test would be my breakfast smoothie this morning. I layered the ingredients as instructed in the booklet (which is the opposite of what I do in my 750 Pro): cacao powder, sesame seeds, roasted peanuts, medjool dates, banana, water. I was skeptical it could produce a smooth smoothie in my actual big smoothie glass. Alas, I turned on the power, immersed this beauty into the ingredients as far down as it would go, started at speed 1 as they suggested and then cranked it slowly to speed 5. Ha! Speed 5 is so powerful I couldn’t move it so I put it down to 3 and blended for about 30 seconds. I was impressed! It made a creamy, dreamy smoothie! It wasn’t as smooth as my 750 Pro mainly because I still need to get the hang of moving the immersion blender around, up and down and figuring out the best speed and duration. It is awesome that I can easily clean it in a glass with water and a few drops of dish liquid in 10 seconds!I LOVE this immersion blender and look forward to making soups, sauces, nut butters and traveling with it once this pandemic is over.Thank you for another fabulous product, Vitamix family :-)—————December 20, 2020 update.I’ve used the immersion blender 1-3 times a day since December 7. My smoothies are very smooth. I made carrot/ginger/cashew soup yesterday and it was creamy, smooth and blended on speed 3 for about 45 seconds.I made coconut milk hot cacao with spices this evening and used speed 3. After blending, I heated it and it was smooth and delicious on a cold day.I also made fresh, chipped ginger /freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice using speed 5 and the juice came out pretty smooth. It had ginger pulp which I expected. What I really love is that I can blend it in any container (as long as it’s wide enough) so I don’t dirty as many dishes. I also like that I can blend snall quantities that are too small to blend in my Vitamix 750 Pro.I’m very happy with it.
