Not worth the money. Get a different product. It does not work with modern laptops so best to avoid buying this especially if you are an artist depending on commissions for your art.

This is the 2nd Visioneer Scanner. The first one was Visioneer OneTouch Flatbed Scanner and I thought that one was great. This one is awesome. It resizes photos documents withou the need ro crop.

The best feature is the ability to lift the lid. Most of the new flatbed scanners won't allow this and you can only can thin books or documents. This model is fast and quiet. The quality of scan is great for what I need, 300 dpi, but you can set higher. The software install was easy with Window 10. I used the site to install rather than the disc.

I needed a scanner quickly when the scanner in my printer stopped working. The Visioneer 7800 arrived a day before expected, I set it up, it scanned the picture I needed - and then - I couldn't find it where it was supposed to be saved. After several attempts I finally called the help number. Javier was wonderful, and stayed with me almost half an hour after his shift ended uninstalling and reinstalling (over a slow connection). It took most of an hour, but the problem was solved, the scanner works, the picture is saved where it should be, and I'm happy. This hour of excellent support was worth every penny of the purchase price.

A good product, value for money. Scanned quality of the pictures is not too bad since my objective is just to salvage old photographs of my parents and my siblings. I love that it is thin and light and can be easily stored. It wasn't very easy to find instructions on how to use it. I had to play with it and go online to search for "how to" but when I learned, it was a breeze.

I bought this scanner to scan a few hundred older pictures my parents had accumulated. Setup was finicky with Windows 10, but I got it to work. I scanned about 30 pictures and they turned out too blurry to use. Boxed it back up and returned it the next day. Sorry this didn’t work better.

I really like this Visioneer Flatbed Document Scanner. It was very easy to setup and the Tool to Scan is very easy to use, it comes with a quality USB Cord and a DVD with the scanning Software and Scanner Driver. I purchased for a very good price. A lot of companies are not offering flatbed scanners anymore for home use (and I find the multi printers with scan/copy function to be problematic). I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend!

For a reasonably priced scanner, this is one that is quite fast. The only drawback is that the software that comes with it is not very user friendly and has few features.
