So I bought these with apparently unrealistically high expectations. These aren’t going to blow your mind comfort wise and I wouldn’t consider them a must buy, that said it is about twice as secure. I think it would be better if the upper and lower halves were more ridged so they supported some of the tension from the strap and redistributed it across an larger surface area. The strap feels very similar and all the tension is in the thin section in the middle of the pad where the strap is. So comfort wise it barley feels any different than the strap is alone. That said, it does make the mask much more secure on the head, is built out of good materials, and isn’t priced disgustingly. So if your looking to improve comfort by 300%, this won’t do that. But if you want to have your mask more secure to your head (like if you want to wear your mask looser or maybe run a GoPro) then this will work great. I was hoping for a game changer product, and although I was mildly let down, I’m still definitely satisfied.
