I've only had it for a couple weeks. Early impressions: Connecting to the camera is very slow (and videos load even more slowly) - even with strong WiFi and a good bandwidth internet connection. Guessing it is their servers. Movement detection is not great. Sometimes does not generate notifications for clear movement right in front of the camera. Picture quality is good. Motion zone is a cool feature but I'm not sure that it works. Notifications don't even include a picture unless you subscribe to the cloud service.

I have a camera already and works in great condition, I did buy this second one for my balcony to oversee the cars but sadly it did not work but I contacted customer service and they have been helping me effectively!! I am overall satisfied with their help and how their cameras work my first one is still amazing and hoping to get my second one, the battery is really good just have to charge so it has good battery life, it’s easy to setup

These are some that would have saved me a lot of money and time if I knew them before buying this camera:- Virtavo devices will show up on your WIFI network under the name "Chinese Dragon Technology Limited", which may scare and/or confuse people if they are unaware of this fact, especially because I could not find any link between the two companies online.- If the WIFI signal to the camera is weak, you may still be able to see a live video feed through the APP, but you will not receive notification's to your phone, even if you have them set up. I have replicated this problem across two camera's and have actually been screwed by this a few times now as my teen has snook people in through her bedroom window and I did not get notified. DO NOT make the assumption that just because you can see the live feed, the wifi signal must be good enough. Test the notifications yourself by going and standing in view of the camera.- The WIFI signal strength meter for each camera in the APP basically always says strong and is not trustworthy in any way.- If your camera has a weak WIFI signal and you aren't getting notifications, a $10-$15 WIFI signal booster that you can plug into any outlet in your home should resolve this issue. I would have purchased one along with my camera order if I had known what I know now.- There is not a way to monitor the live feed on your PC, you can only view the live feed through your phone. I work from home in front of my PC all day, so it would be great if I could see the live feed on my computer.. and had I known that it is limited to your phone before hand, I would have chosen a different brand or different camera model.How to get the most battery efficiency with security notifications:- If you set the notification frequency to every 60 seconds, and set it to only notify when people are in the frame, it works very very well and the battery will last like 1.5-2 months on each camera.- If you set it up to notify you of every little thing, you will get a notification for every tiny flying gnat, pet, or car that passes in view of the camera and the battery will only last about a week.- The Ai detection works great

Surprised at how easy to set up, image quality is really good, motion detection is very good, notifications of movement come through pretty fast on phone, audio is clear off the mic, also talk through volume can be adjusted at 80% volume it's really loud, need to turn down unless you want to have fun and spook the neighbourhood, 2 night vision options colour and infrared (B/W), recommend using colour if have white walls as it will blowout the image if using IR night vision, very affordable, very cheap monthly fee for cloud storage on the family plan (less than a 500ml bottle of a famous fizzy drink), highly recommend especially for the price

Ik gebruik nu twee camera's aan boord van varend woonschip. Beeldkwaliteit is zeer goed, ook in het donker.Er is een mogelijkheid om beelden op te slaan in de cloud tegen betaling. Accuduur valt mij erg mee, in de winter ongeveer twee-en-een-halve maand en bij hogere temperaturen bijna vijf maanden. De app die hier bij hoort is makkelijk in gebruik en verkrijgbaar op telefoon en laptop (mac). Wifi verbinding (2.4Ghz) werkt goed, ook op mijn stalen schip. Enige verbetering die ik graag zou willen zien is een steviger montageplaat. Deze is nu van plastic en kan iets steviger. Voor deze prijs absoluut een aanrader.
