Fractional violin strings I have found to not have a great quality of sound. These strings seemed to be a good quality and went into the violin easily. They have a very thin sound to me almost twangy- but again- those small violins are hard to create a decent tone on to begin with. Overall they were fine.

They did work but the dominants I replaced them with are so much easier to play. Not a professional violinist by any means but in my little experience with them it’s not worth the savings and you should go with something more well known.Update: seller emailed me offering a full refund, but I’m not changing the 3 star rating and I didn’t hate these so bad I returned them, I just bought the dominants as soon as I learned some of the odd things I was experiencing when practicing was probably due to cheap strings. This is an honest review at 3 stars and while not terrible strings certainly for the price, the dominants I replaced them with feel better under the fingers and sound better too, well worth the added cost vs these in my opinion.
