The violin itself is decent for the price. Good for beginners. The case is junk. The latch broke second day. I had to use use pliers and a screwdriver to break it apart so I could get the instrument. I've invested in a Gator case. Also, some assembly required. If you don't know how to install the and strings, you'll have to take it somewhere.
