I love it! Exceeded my expectations. It is a well built and very nice looking bow that almost matches the color of my upright bass. I am new to the use of a bow but I really like the sound this unit produces.

Perfect for this "unprofessional" bass player. Use it on my acoustic bass with a symphony orchestra, and with my electric stand-up bass for outdoor concerts and performing for senior citizen groups!

Ordered for a high school that was in need of bows where my daughter taught this summer. Acceptable quality for student bows. They all arrived in good shape. Black hairs, not white.

I have been playing string bass for 10 years and I have used several bows; but after using this bow for 5 months the hair started to get loose.Now the bow does not work at all.

This bow is very nice. It has beautiful black hair, dark strong wood, and it tightens and untightens very easily. It is quite heavy I would say, but it might just be that I haven't had the greatest bows recently. The rosin comes of nicely on the hair, and it makes a big difference in my playing.
