I needed a transition piece going from bedroom to ensuite, with a 1/2 inch height difference ( bedroom is vinyl plank, bathroom is porcelain tile). Didn’t want a screwed in metal piece, didn’t want wood, so decided to try this. It was easy to trim to fit, and the 2 way tape seems to be good quality. Looks great, very pleased.

Used for a carpet to concrete floor transition. With a little help from construction adhesive it is working well.

This stuff is very sticky. Make sure you have it where you want it before the sticky part touches the floor because it's over. Sticks very well and easy to install.

This floor transition strip was a lifesaver for bridging the gap between my basement's tile and vinyl flooring. The installation was straightforward, with the adhesive securely sticking in place. The light gray wood grain finish blends beautifully with the flooring and provides a seamless look. While I can't yet comment on long-term durability, the strip feels sturdy and hasn't budged after weeks of heavy foot traffic. A great, cost-effective solution for uneven transitions.

We used this strip to transition from vinyl flooring to carpet. Worked well. I don't think it looks cheap. Looks fine with our setup. I'll address some of the negative reviews and share a couple things I did to make sure it functioned properly.First, I saw people complaining that the adhesive didn't stick. To make sure you have complete adhesion, prep/wipe the floor with isopropyl alcohol where you are planning to stick down the strip. This will get rid of any surface contaminants. Second, use a heat gun (or hair dryer on the hottest setting) to slightly pre-heat the adhesive before sticking it down. Be cautious with a heat gun as it could melt the material. You just need to warm it up. You don't need to heat it up to a point where you can't handle it with bare hands.The other complaint I saw was that you can't unroll it completely. This, again, isn't true. I rolled mine in the opposite direction and gave it a little heat with a heat gun and it straightened it right out.To trim it, I just used a sharp pair of scissors. They worked fine.Hope this helps!

I needed a transition to go from the kitchen floor to the family room to accommodate a wheel chair. The strip is well made. I think the strip should be wider because it still requires an effort to push the wheel chair over. Also the adhesive is not adequate. I had to use Alien Tape to secure it. It' not popping up any more.

I bought this for a stepdown from the toilet to the bathroom floor, as the stepdown was exactly a half inch it fit perfectly, it lies flat and the chosen colour matches well with the vinyl tiles and bathmat.

When this arrived it was rolled up. When I went to unroll it, it was molded into a circular form and rolled right back up. It is a relatively strong rubber and I was concerned it would not stick if I tried to adhere it while it was in this form. I flattened it out and set heavy objects on it to try to get it to stay flat. I left it like that for nearly a week. After a week it was better but still curled just not as tightly. It did not seem there would be any benefit to leaving it longer. I cut it to the size of the door way and installed it using the adhesive that came on it. I again set heavy objects on each end for a couple days hoping it would stay down. When I removed the heavy objects it initially looked to be staying in place. But after a couple days it began lifting on the edge as I had feared it would. The strength of the rubber attempting to return to the curled form is just to much for the adhesive to hold.
