In einem Glas war ein Schmutzpartikel eingearbeitet, also habe ich die Gläser zurückgeschickt und neue bestellt. Von den neuen Gläsern hatte eines Risse, die Verpackung war vollständig intakt, sodass ich davon ausgehe, dass es sich erneut um einen Produktionsfehler handelt…Schade, denn das Design gefällt mir gut…

As everyone says, these do have a lovely packaging—Glassique Cadeau does well at that. It also makes them easy to store, which I appreciate, having an enormous glassware collection to deal with.You can indeed see the seams on these, and I've got a shot for you here, but that’s okay for my photography hobby needs; I just position them at an edge that the camera doesn’t catch.As a Collins, though they fall in volume range, they are really just a touch too wide—they are nearly a water tumbler here, but probably too small for that. So it’s this interesting mid-range thing that I guess is unique. I’ve found use for them in the Tiki drinks that can go in Tiki mugs, but where it might be nice to see the beverage.Also, depending on what specs you’re making, you may find 12 oz to be a little large for the needs of your highball or fizz recipes, even accounting for ice volume. But some may be willing to trade a little extra dilution for that full look to the glass on presentation—I’m not super big on that. Most fizzes will not work here, as the mouth is again too wide, and the look of your foam tends to be thin and low. You’ll instead want a narrow mouth 9-10 oz highball if you want your foam to look thick and just reach the surface.Same with some highballs: some classic recipes will not make it all the way to the top of these because they are pretty wide and the ice won’t really stack for you (for some vertical lift help) in a wider glass. And, obviously, this is nitpicking, and may only matter to some persnickety folks like me.But as a tropical presentation, they do have that interesting texture that goes well in a Tiki environment. I’ve attached a recent sip at my bar for you to judge the effect yourself. Since Tiki employs a lot of ice that gets delivered fully into the glass right from the shake or flash blend, I tried to find a recipe that could stand the high volume glass while looking lovely in the texture. Anyhow, I’m happy to add these to the collection, and they are easily a 4.3 for me.

I had high hopes for this that were unfortunately dashed. The pattern is nice enough in person, but the quality is severely lacking and the item doesn't match the listing description indicating it's crystal.The box and presentation are lovely and would lead you to believe the quality of the glasses is high. Unfortunately, however, the contents of the box are a massive letdown and a step down in quality. These are quite obviously cheap injection molded glasses that are nothing special that can't be found for a couple dollars a piece elsewhere at a big box retailer like Walmart or Target. There were multiple visible seams as a result of the injection molding process on each glass and the glasses themselves felt cheap in the hand. What a bummer.

Bought three sets of glasses. Mezcal, Flamingo Collins and Mykonos. Love them all. Good quality and great boxes ! Will buy Glassique Cadeau glasses again !

This is a great set of four glasses. Comes packed in a really lovely satin lined box so they are perfect for a gift set or keeping them stored when not in use. The glass is a good thickness not too thin so I am not worried about chipping or unreasonable breaks. They fit the hand well and the design in the glass feels nice in the hand. The only thing I would critique is that the seams in the glass is visible and you can feel it but that seems to be most glassware these days. Check out my photos for a closer look.

These glasses make me feel like I’m in an old movie, shades of Key Largo or The Great Gatsby. I love the look, and the texture makes them easy to hold without slipping. They’re the perfect size for holding & sipping. I got these for ourselves but they’d be a great gift: beautiful, quality glasses that come in classy packaging. Even the box feels like an old movie: it’s glossy & thick, with a satin lining & velvet-like padding that fits atop the glasses. Love these glasses!
