Bought for my home office. So far I have not noticed a ticking noise which seems common in a lot of clocks. Since this is on my desk nearby I didn’t want the noise distraction. This is a nice size and adds a nice touch to the decor.

I needed a clock for my bookcase and I wanted simple and easy to read. I appreciate how cute the clock is with black base. I would have preferred the face to be more of a striking white to make the numbers easier to read but it's a tad off-white. I did not want roman numerals nor busy looking. Make sure you measure bc even with the measurements it was still larger than I expected.
