Great look and very sturdy. Great size for any porch, doesn’t take up too much room. However, like all mass produced things, it is a bit wonky. The lid scrapes along one side. It’s why it doesn’t get 5 stars.

The VINGLI Wooden Outdoor Storage Bench is a great addition to my outdoor space. It’s both functional and visually appealing, blending well with my deck decor. Assembly was straightforward, though it took a bit of time to ensure everything was aligned properly.One small downside is that the storage compartment isn’t fully waterproof, so I wouldn’t recommend storing items that can’t handle a little moisture. Adding a liner or tarp inside could help with that issue.Overall, this is a solid choice for anyone looking for a dual-purpose piece of outdoor furniture. It’s practical, stylish, and a good value for the price.

Instructions were poor, but I expected this. Both from the reviews and from experience with past build it yourself style furniture. I’d grade instructions one level below IKEA lol.But what really got me was the ease at which the wood cracked while putting it together. Word to the wise: Do Not Use Power tools on the screws! Just get cramps in your hands from the little allen wrench and deal with it. I also got the short end of the stick when it came to the holes and how they lined up; which frankly many of them did not. Had to *carefully* drill new holes while trying my best to not crack the wood again. Bench is currently put together, albeit with wood glue which rescued the bench. It is beautiful and the seating cushion is comfy. Mainly got this style bench for the storage inside for gardening tools. I could care less that it doesn’t open all the way. Morale of the story be careful and take your time putting this bench together.

I love my new bench! Easy to assemble. It fits our tiny porch perfectly. I think it’s such a great deal. I spent more on a bag of groceries recently. It even smells good. I love that it is also a storage container. Beats those tacky plastic ones every day. It’s actually comfortable to sit on.

This is real and beautiful wood. It had what looked like metal debris all over so make sure you don't have kids or pets around while putting together. There were at least 6 places that didn't have the holes drilled. I have a drill that I don't wth I'm doing with but I figured it out lol. I also used my own philips and a wrench to tighten the nuts. Its very sturdy. I couldn't figure out the lid attachment. I moved it to a lower place so it would close. It really needs some kind of washer thingy. I imagine that the lid attacher thing will break. Its very spacious. I'm 5'3, plenty of room for 2 people. I am using it for a breakfast nook!

Easy to put together, except for figuring out how to fit the bottom pieces in. The seat slightly rubs against the right arm piece when it's being opened up, but it still works well. The seat stays up until you put it down, which is a nice safety feature. The back has a slight slant, making it comfortable to lean against when sitting on the bench.

I love this bench! I needed something that would fit in a smaller place, hold storage and look decent. I didn’t want to get one of those plastic benches, thought might look tacky in the front walk. This was perfect, it’s made from real wood, not particle board like most ‘wood’ products. The wood is soft so careful with the drill! You can see in my 2nd pic what happens when you drill to hard or miss.. The bench top did want to lean to the right when drilling the hinges, but keeping the other review in mind I pushed it to the left when drilling and I don’t have any issues with the top rubbing against the bench arm when opening it. It does take an extra yank to open, but overall it’s a great buy.
