The color is more orange than I expected for brown. But seems pretty sturdy once assembled.UPDATE:After a few months, the finish is starting to peal off. It’s clear this won’t last us a very long time. Would not buy this again.

I bought this for my wife, and she is very pleased with it. I already had a matching swing I planned to hang from the ceiling of the screened porch; however, I abandoned the idea in favor of being able to more easily relocate the swing to accommodate my wife’s preferences.The frame was easy to assemble by myself. It is slightly heavy and stable. The swing was easy to hang onto the frame and adjust its height per my wife’s preferences.

Bought this stand for a swing I already owned. Very sturdy, and my husband raved at how easy it was to put together. Looks great and is holding up very well.

I’ve waited a month to write this review because I wanted to make sure it was accurate. I got this swing AND frame from the same company (VINGLI). I paid about $350 for this set. I was very worried because the reviews were not that great and that’s why I waited to write this one. Overall the swing is great. It’s sturdy and pretty comfortable although if you sit on it longer than 10-15mins you’re going to want a cushion because it makes your butt sore. I am not extremely confident in its sturdiness but I can confidently say it can hold at least 300lbs easily as that’s how much I weigh. My husband is about 260 and it has held the both of us (so 560lbs total) but it pops and creeks when we are both on it and we have only ever sat on it together twice for about 5 mins at a time. I’m worried it is going to break if we are both on it too long. I say this for the other heavy set people who are worried about it because I sure was. I sit on this swing daily and by myself there has never been an issue. It does squeak when swinging but can be fixed with some oil. The wood itself is VERY lightweight. So if your looking for something heavy duty i don’t know if this is for you. I would say overall this swing AND frame weigh about 60-70 pounds. I don’t see this swing lasting more than a few years at the absolute most. If you have a sunroom your putting this in or you live in an area where the temperature doesn’t change a lot then this may be a better option for you. The chains that come with the swing itself are very long so if your buying the frame expect a good amount of extra chain. If your hanging this from the ceiling of your pouch it will be just right. It was not hard to assemble this swing but the frame does require two people. I highly recommend having your own tools because the ones they give you aren’t worth a crap and won’t do the job right. I didn’t see any damage to the gram or swing and it was packaged well. Overall I think if your looking for a middle of the road price and quality this is gonna do you right.

I replaced an old porch swing with a new one then spent some worthwhile time reconditioning and rebuilding the original. The new location (a mountain cabin) didn't have any viable spots for hanging the fixed up swing so I ordered this frame.The Fedex delivery to a remote Idaho location was super fast.The assembly was intuitive and easy, but requires a second pair of hands. There's no tools provided but any DIY person should have the necessary wrenches.The frame turned out to be sturdy and stable and looks very nice on my deck.
