Seems ok but there is no touch focus, if you zoom in and try to move image around it's not possible, the image jumps all around, you can assign a function button to zoom in but not out, so you have to go through all the zoom increments to get back to no zoom. I wanted it for photography thought it would give me a bigger image than my LCD screen, but it doesn't give you much more than your camera's screen there's a lot of black area around your image, so 5.5inch screen is not all useable but it will be brighter.

It would help by including a micro HDMI cable with this product as most cameras these days will only take this.

I love how easy it is to see what I'm capturing. I dislike the lag between the monitor and the lcd when using the menu on my Nikon Z6iii.

I bought this mainly because of the scopes and false color features. This tool is loaded with all the features you’ll need for the perfect shot at a decent price. The touchscreen works perfectly, although the buttons on the screen are small. However, once you set your preferences, you don’t really need to do anything other than power it on and off. There are also quick buttons to recall a setup.It has some fancy features like the ability to use LUTs, but I haven’t tested them as I don’t need them, nor do I generally like the idea of altering the image while trying to capture the best possible quality of the original footage. Still, for some, this may be a crucial feature.Brightness is fine, especially if you’re mainly verifying things using scopes, etc. It easily beats several more expensive options in terms of price and value, as I’ve been able to compare it with friends who have other, more expensive brands of monitors and recorders.You can easily find extra batteries at any camera store, eBay, or Amazon for a reasonable price. The only downside is that the HDMI cables are like “steel rods,” so you’ll need to order ultra-thin and flexible ones. The bulky cables could damage your HDMI connector if they get even slightly tangled.

The picture quality is beautiful even in bright sunshine. I also really enjoy the option to load my own luts into the monitor which is something I find my self using more and more, because I can see what my video will look like after color grading. The process of adding them is fairly simple using a SD card once you figure out the menus.I love the pop up Sun hood, much more better than those velcros Sun hoods I hated those and I like the fact even whenever collapse it acts as a shield for the screen definitely a plus. Overall I am super happy with my purchase! I have a few different 7” monitors which are too big and bulky for my style of shooting. Therefore the 5.5” fit perfectly for my needs!When it comes to build quality I wasn’t expecting the feel or durability of a monitor or similar brands in that price point. The monitor is a full plastic build, but I bet it can thrown around in cases and bags. it has a very professional build quality feel to it.The built in features such as focus peaking, zebra, false color, and histograms all work great for what I need and provide a good enough reference for me while shooting to make me feel comfortable using them.Bottom line I love this Monitor and I'll probably be using this monitor from here on out!! it's also the best one I've had to date!
