As you can see the color is quite off, but image is clear, the AF does struggle as you move the document and tries to annotate on it.Despite the description, this definitely would not be a good webcam whatsoever.As a document camera, the only upshot is really you have a ready to use vertically setup + light.If you want to use this to demonstrate something you typed out on paper, may not be a bad idea, but make sure the software you are using supports the video rotation, otherwise your will be required to use their app for screen share.And don't hold your breath on the picture quality.At this price, the camera feels well made, but again lacked out at the camera's sensor and output quality.

I truly love this. Easy to set up and use. Unfolds several different ways depending on use. Great for recording demos for my students . Good picture and sound quality. For me, it replaced a $600 doc cam that got old and died.

It has helped him tremendously to get the most out of his lessons; even music class.his teacher couldn’t thank me enough. since it has also helped to make her life easier.Giving live presentations and sharing completed work has now become effortless.Its easy enough to use and compatible with Zoom.The instructions are clear and simplified.he was able to set it up by himself.Solid and Durable durable construction. And extremely versatile arm, can be angled to get the exact height and distance necessary depending on the circumstance.The device folds up amazingly compact to be stored away easily on the weekends.The picture quality is superb. Literally crystal clear and lifelike. an auto focus feature that is initiated with just one touch.Overall I am happy with this purchase. A bit pricey but totally worth it. The features that this visualizer has brought to the table has freed up so much time.It has gotten him ahead of the game in many subjects and has turned this challenging and drastic change into something he can enjoy again.So totally worth the price and I would definitely buy another one again if need be.

I have to scan documents fairly regularly for my business, and I also need to photograph small items for use on the web. I decided to give this camera a try. So far, I've been pretty satisfied with it.SETUPI have a Windows 10 PC, and setup was simple. Once the camera was hooked up, my computer recognized it immediately. To access the camera for simple photos or videos, just use the "Camera" app on your computer and switch to the "4K Document Camera." In order to use this as a scanning device, you have to download and install specialized software from the company called "VIISAN Visual Cam," which is free and easy to set up.BUILD QUALITYAll parts are made of sturdy metal. The arm hinge allows smooth adjustments, but with enough resistance to hold its position. The base is heavy enough to keep the camera steady, no matter what angle the arm is set at. The two physical buttons located on the unit are easy to see and are responsive. The USB hookup is designed properly, allowing an easy connection to the camera while getting the wire out of the way during use.AS A CAMERAThis is a very good quality camera for taking quick photos and videos. It also works really well for Zoom or similar online meetings. The quality of the image, and the adjustments available with the camera arm, make it easy to use. The microphone picks up sound even better than my dedicated webcam. It has really nice capabilities to show, during an online chat, whatever you're working on in real time, and with terrific clarity. It takes some patience to play around with all the options available with this camera, but about an hour's worth of exploring allowed me to feel very comfortable with it.AS A DOCUMENT SCANNER AND MAGNIFIED CAMERAIn addition to using this as a standard camera, I also explored using it for document scanning. I scanned pages from books, checks, and other documents. The text clarity is very good.I also tested this as a magnification camera, and it seems to work well at this in my early experiments. I tested out zooming in on coins and a couple of other household items. I was able to capture magnified images of these items using the VIISAN software. The images were clear and high quality, not at all grainy.AS A STOP-MOTION RECORDERI did some preliminary testing creating stop-motion movies. You should have an idea what your goal is when you do this. But with patience, the software does work to help you first capture a series of images, then thread them together in a finished presentation. If you have done stop-motion work before, you might get up to speed more quickly with this camera. For others who are new to this, like me, just be patient and prepare to spend a bit of time getting the hang of it. The finished product is great and can be a lot of fun to do.PORTABILITYThis camera folds up neatly into a compact little package that it easy to toss into a laptop case or other bag. It can then be plugged back into a PC or laptop wherever you are.VIISAN SOFTWAREThe only downside for me here is having to use the VIISAN software, as opposed to the software I'm accustomed to for scanning. But the VIISAN application is rather simple to learn, with just enough options to be powerful, without overwhelming you. It allows quick abilities to scan and magnify images with the software, using mouse clicks.CONCLUSIONThis is an interesting concept that works well. The camera is great quality, with lots of capabilities. Be ready to spend some time getting accustomed to all the options, and accept that you have to use a specialized app for the really good stuff. But I like it, and I recommend it.

I liked the camera quality and portability, but it stopped working very quickly after I purchased it, and the return window was very small.

I really like the design of this product, very elegant. Video/image quality is very good. Recommend for wfh kit.
