This serves its purpose in the sense that it truly plays CDs, radio, Records (with the adapter stored nicely in the box), and tapes. It does this through the speakers that are encased. The speakers are fine but not the best quality if you want bigger fuller sound and bass.Note that the description is wrong here. “EXPANDED CONNECTION OPTIONS – Extend the sound by connecting external speakers or an amplifier via the RCA Line outputs or bluetooth out technology. For personal listening, plug your headphones into the headphone jack.” There is NO OPTION to connect speakers through Bluetooth out technology as they claim. I have confirmed this with Victrola after trying to figure it out for several days.I bought this in part because of this description as I planned to connect to my surround sound system (made of nice speakers and a subwoofer). This did not work despite the description claim that it does. I missed my return window trying to figure it out. I do not want others to have this same experience. It will connect with aux cables to speakers but this requires more money on new speakers again. I would have rather spent more on a player and used the speakers I have. This is cute, it works, it has decent sound at low levels but you cannot connect Bluetooth out speakers to it.

When we bought this it was strictly for records, we have alot of viynals and wanted to actually listen to them. The sound Quality is amazing and the amount of features it has is amazing. What makes.it revolutionary to me is the Bluetooth option, when I think of a record player I am thinking of old and only gramaphone and maybe a radio but this has more that. It has aux and bluetooth which is super easy to hook up to your phone. It can get really loud and also be really quiet, even my dog doesn't mind it (hes a begal so hes very sensitive to sound). Cannot recommend this enough, my husband says it's the best purchase hes made!

I love the vintage look and feel of this player, but with benefits of modern features like a remote and bluetooth output. We purchased this for the record player, but were extra delighted with the radio function, and potential for CD and even Cassette playback of our archived musical compilations! Time to dig up the boxes of old music from the attic and basements! =) The sound quality is good The materials are high quality, with wood, and the record player easy to use. Great for novice vinyl listeners!

The Victrola 8-in-1 Bluetooth Record Player & Multimedia Center was purchased during august of 2018 for the price of $107.12 plus tax. It's now available for the sale price of $124.99 plus tax (December 5, 2024).This unit was purchased for my Mother who has a vast collection of vinyl albums...thousands! As one who is barely tech savvy, the intricate audio tech that my Dad possessed was a bit to technical for her. She wanted something relatively simple that would allow her to listen to her vast archive without too much fuss.Although those sudiophiles who are technically astute would steer away from a unit such as this, it's perfect for those who simply want to listen to the music without having to fiddle around with the adjustments inherent in component audio systems. My Mom was ecstatic with the purchase and indulged her desire to listen to her collection with fervor. Although she only used the radio, turntable, and cassette player at first, she began using the cd player after awhile...with absolutely no difficulty whatsoever! It's been slightly more than 6 years since the purchase was made and the unit looks and functions as though it was just taken out of the box. The cabinet is made of wood, however. In order to keep the wood nourished, it would be advisable to use a wood conditioner, or furniture polish, on the cabinet to preserve it for years to come.At the current sale price, I would still make this purchase.

I do not recommend buying this product. I acquired this Victrola and when I heard the vinyl, I found that its sound was very low. We can only hear if we sit in front of the sound or put on a headset, but it is still low. In the other functions Victrola works normally. I tried to contact the manufacturer to solve the problem through their website, but they never answered me. I have a device that I can't hear the vinyl and this was the main reason for the purchase

I've only had it for a week so far but after having to choose between the Aviator and the Electrohome Signature and taking a chance with either of them despite the scary negative reviews that had me worried about these all-in-one record players. It's not bad. The speakers are pretty decent and damn well can get loud if you're just a casual vinyl person and not audiophile. Also! Big plus is this one has phono out which is nice if I ever want to add some powered external speakers in the future unlike the Electrohome from what I've read. So, you know, keep that in mind. The am/fm radio is really nice and clear even in this three story apartment building I'm in which acts like the Bermuda triangle and can't get a signal out with my phone to save my life sometimes. The bluetooth works excellently and quick. (Note: the Aviator will show up as, "Wooden music player" or something along those words.)The cd player works which is all I can really say on that subject because I played, like, two disc on it but it works nonetheless and reads even clear, black, blue cd backs.Haven't tried the cassette player yet. I'll add onto this later when I get some cassettes to play some day.And the big one. The vinyl player. It comes with a little first startup manual laid across the platter. So setting it up was easy. It plays all speeds like it says it should. I tried 33 1/3 LP's, 45's, and 78's. It comes with a tonearm lift so that's nice so you don't have to just drop it. The platter doesn't skip and the needle reads clearly. Now of course the quality of the needle some audiophiles will say, "Eck! Ceramic garbage! Destroy your records!". Like, okay, sure probably they do but I just wanted something that works and doesn't actually destroy your records like Crosley's record players. It's good, good for casual vinyl players that just want to play some of their old records, and new ones occasionally. It's actually not bad. Also the packaging was something else. In a good-ish way. Came in four boxes and the box with the record player in it was protected with foam braces and air bags. The vinyl player has a transport screw the tone arm was secured with a wire and foam block and plastic clip to hold it to the resting arm and the platter was held stiff with a foam block pressed down to it. I'd recommend holding onto these foam pieces just for future reasons. The needle was protected with a plastic cover. They supply three extra replacement needles and a microfiber cloth. A manual included with a remote. The remote did not come with batteries. The remote acted funny at first with the volume not going up or down without first going down once before going up in volume and vice versa. The knob for the volume on the console is weird it's molded with a arrow and a printed - to + picture but the knob you might have to twist it around all the way twice to turn it from 20 to 0 volume because, I don't know, oversight?
