I suffer from hyperhidrosis i.e. my hands sweat a lot on a normal day, and when I start playing it usually increases. I've tried several different coated "grip" sticks (vic grip, etc.) but they have all been too slippery, even though they claim to get grippier with sweat. The Pure Grit line is perfect - they're uncoated so no slippery/slick feeling, and I feel like I can really attack without risking a stick just slipping out of my hands. The 5B's are my favorite - they feel a bit more substantial than the 5As in my hands, and they last months before they start to chip (with playing a few hours a week on a set, daily practice on a pad).
