This is not Indian Rosewood. This is a flat piece of some unknown wood that has not been radiused and will require a lot of work to use. The fret slots are not at the correct spacing, the binding is poorly installed, there is glue all over the top. It will be easier to start from scratch than to rework this.

Absolutely the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen! The taper angel is uneven and the fret lines are not cut straight! It is splintered beyond belief. Glue everywhere! Plastic melted! Wouldn't put this on a child's junk guitar! Not even functional! Do not waste your money. I'm returning immediately!

I bought this for a guitar I'm building and it needs some work but it's absolutely usable. The wood is very coarse and dry. I recommend applying lemon oil and lightly sanding it with a medium-high grit, just enough that it won't give you slivers. If you're planning to use this on a project, chances are you're expecting to have to do some work on the thing anyway. It seems like some others expected something of much higher quality than what they got.I think it's important to keep in mind that anyone who buys a fretboard from Amazon probably isn't exactly familiar with what a pre-constructed fretboard should/would cost.I imagine if you're experienced with that sort of thing, you would know of a better place to buy a fretboard from. Personally I am a total beginner when it comes to building/repairing guitars, I just wanted a fretboard I could order with my Prime subscription. For the price, I'm more than satisfied with what I got, if you're looking for a cheap fretboard and don't care about having to do some work on it then this is exactly that.If you're looking for something made of quality material though... I don't think this is for you, and I would suggest asking around online or maybe even looking for a local luthier who would surely have nicer materials than this or at the very least a source for them.

What sold me on it is it's already bound with white. I've bought several.

It’s very nice. Recommend this product to all. It’s beautiful and for the price why pass it up

Great for the price but it definitely isn't that great. I knew when I bought it that I should have some glue on it, that is no big deal, you need to sand a slight radius on it anyway so it will all get sanded off no problem. What I do have a problem with is several chips that must have cone out of the wood at some point. They aren't large but they will be extra work to try to conceal.

For the price, I think will work just fine. Everything is in the right place/frets etc. it’s a little rough in the edges but will probably sand off.

Kind of rough. It is as pictured which is not a Fender Tele neck. I will need to do my own finishing and cylindrical curving of the top of the fretboard but I have been given a great short cut opposed to doing it myself. Dots are slightly off center, but I intend to replace with my own inlay anyways.
