I have some expensive name brand aluminum treec climbers. these are more durable, so much more comfortable to wear with the padded velcro pads and easier to get on than my other pairs at 1/3 the cost. I'm sold on this brand.

When your 30 ft up in a tree you really wish you purchased good equipment. Nothing bad to say about these . I put them over my chainsaw pants so I have more cushioning . Be aware that these have long spurs to climb trees. Short spurs are for telephone pole. Long can go for pole but short cannot for trees because of the bark Since I dont plan to work all day long in them ( going up a tree is tiring I can tellyou ) there is no need for aluminium or carbon.

These, as all spurs are, a little challenging to hitch the boot strap. Once you get all strapped in, it’s hard to notice they are there. The spikes are sharp.

Comfortable to wear …. Suggest to take model with “Buckle strap” instead of velcro foot strap as ypu can tighten a bit moreSpike has good insertion in tree so it mihjt be hard to pull out … good thing but to remenberNice buy
