The intake on the unit is 32mm. Most small pumps are only 12 mm. You need to find the right plumbing fittings to size it down. The unit leaks from the top where the white fitting is threaded in. Short of using copper and actually soldering it on, I am not confident it will ever work without leaking.

I bought a couple of these spillways, which as said comes with a connector with 1.3" diameter.I am unable to find a proper tubing/connector to connect this odd size. Lowes or Homedepot none of them have any of he sizes that fit.

Me ha llegado una fuente que no es la que pedí, mucho más ancha y con una sola toma de agua, y en la foto aparecen dos. Me han fastidiado pero bien, porque los albañiles estaban esperando la fuente y ahora tengo que devolverla y pedir otra. No la volvería a comprar porque no me parece que exista seriedad. No sé corresponde para nada con la fotografía.

We just received the spillway, disappointed before even unwrapping. You can see the two spots where rust has started already. Will be returning.

Great looking fountain, easy to install and comes with coupler/adapter. Only problem is that it's starting to rust after 2 weeks and hence 3 stars.
