The OD of the spear itself is 1 3/4", but the collar is extra. Otherwise exactly what I was looking for.

These are great! They’re study and for the price you can’t beat it. When you’re buying, keep in mind you lose almost 6” mounting, so unless 33” is sufficient, you might look at one of their longer spike options, but I can lift 1600lb bales using 3 of these without any problem.

These are amazing and hell for strong. They pick a 1 1/2 ton bale of hay without whimper. I may have even used the for "not as intended" use and no issues. JUST make sure you have the sleeves provided welded VERY securely to what ever framework you use for your support.
