These were discounted a while ago and I bought four boxes for future moving. They are absolutely the type of blanket you expect them to be. They are moving blankets and they protected furniture bouncing around in the back of a pickup. They protected the roof of the car from two Christmas trees. I've never felt the need to be careful with them or to baby them, and they've held up really well.
