Great mag drill for the price. Drill a bunch of I beams with it and built a steel house. Ran great throughout the entire project

Worked good for one hole, magnet wasn't strong enough to hold to drill through single frame, it fell and broke, put your money towards a good one!

My first project was to drill 3/4” holes to run sheer pins through the leading edge of a plate steel loader bucket extension. (Think: ‘farmer needs to carry more poop in his tractor bucket’). The angles were funky and the plate steel was pitted and rusty and I had very few issues. One thing to know is that if your surface is not REALLY Flat and Clean the magnet can pop off if you advance too fast. Lesson learned…it’s so powerful it can break an arm if you’re holding it tightly…(ask how I know).The incredibly high quality and power of the machine makes it a perfect fit for a busy machine shop on a very busy farm. And as a farmer I would love to buy all American…but until we can build one for under $1800…I have to do what’s best for my farm.

I bought this to drill some 1/2 holes in two 25' W8x40 steel beams. The drill acted funny for the first 50 holes, then I broke two bits. Turns out that the securing screws (M6 x1.0 x25mm) holding the base nearest the drill motor were too short and had pulled out. So I bought two M6 x1.0 x35 screws at the local hardware store and now the drill is working really well. I am drilling 15mm holes at about 40 holes/hour with some clean up as I go. My point is, I needed a drill to build a 23ft bridge and this was much cheaper than having someone else do the steel work. But Just know that you may also need to know what to expect. The bits included with this drill set were actually pretty good quality. I got about 154 holes to go.

I had a hogan drill before and this drill got the same power magnetic function and mor for this price,I think is steal. 😊

Drill, magnet and cutters work very well. No good instruction because of converted Chinese to English with weird wording. like not having instructions at all. One bolt installed in a place the prohibited the drill to extend unless bolt removed. Cutters very high quality and cut thru 1/2" steel easily.

I had a missing piece and contacted the manufacturer via Amazon seller contact. They quickly resolved the issue. The drill bits cut fast and clean (used it on 1/4" mild steel for 8 holes so far) but make sure you use plenty of cutting oil. I'm just a DIYer and this meets my needs at a great price compared with the "yellow" brand.
