This product did not last past two trappings before whatever critter, likely Raccoon, broke through "welded" metal caging and got free. With earlier purchases, this same size trap did not hold up to critter containment and broke off the trigger platform mechanism... This is about my 4 purchase and last...

I needed to purchase this because I suddenly became a possum restaurant, and could not scare him off. It was relatively easy to assemble, and I really like that the open-door latch isn't springlocked, just gravity held. It only took 2 days to catch my unwanted guest and to escort him across town so he couldn't come back. Opening the door to release him was easy and I think would be safe even if he had been aggressive ( though he was pretty chill tbh)

Very easy to put together, had it together within 5 minutes, just glanced at the instructions, Common Sense is the way it goes together, would highly recommend nice size.

Impossible d'attraper la minette car elle connaissait déjà la cage trappe. Achat effectué pour rien.

Kinda hard to set up but we looked at a YouTube video. This thing works very well, we wanted to catch a groundhog and caught a billion squirrels and an opossum in the process, and we also caught the groundhog. It's cool because it's no kill. Worth every penny. Also, it's like big enough to fit a groundhog which is pretty big. Although if you wanna catch a smarter animal than a squirrel you should put a tarp or towel on top of the cage

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I would like to start off by saying, yes, it cought possums and also the coons we were after and even a few curious squirrels so the live traps work as they should, and ya get what you pay for which is a functioning live trap, but, oh there is a but, they are not dog proof, no we didn't catch a dog but our dog disassembled one to get the coon out of the trap, and the second trap was tore apart by a particularly large and very angry coon from the inside out, no it wasn't rabid, hell I would probably be a little mad if I got caught in a trap also, the trap did it's job and held the chicken slayer as it should have but is unusable now, these traps do what they should but are not really on the sturdy side, that being said again worth the cost if you can't afford a more expensive live trap, just hope your critter problem isn't as large or angry as our chicken slayers were. Good luck and happy trapping :)
