This double-acting hydraulic power unit has a 12V DC motor (Power:1.6-3.0kw) and a 3-quart plastic reservoir; it has SAE#6 ports with 3200 PSI max relief setting on A and 1500 PSI on B port. Rated speed: 2850 r/min.

I hooked the pump up and it instantly started pumping in the reverse position. It was wired to the battery correctly, but I was unable to use the pump due to internal / wiring failure

Good unit - works well I put it on my snow plow in place of a very slow electric actuator and it is nice and fast and strong.Only thing - the fittings were no tightened on some of the connections.Double check everything when you power it up!

correct fittings are hard to find and use metric BSPP threads. new out of the box it didnt work as i think the solenoid was defective as it powered on as soon as i touched the power cables to the battery .

purchased this item to replace our old pump. I used this pump for a horse trailer and not a dump trailer. The replacement went very smooth but to make the trailer go up I had to press the down button. Long story short it is important to connect the high pressure line to the high pressure side of the hydraulic cylinder. If not the trailer will lift but in 2 hours trailer will be back on the ground. It appears there is pressure relief valve on the low pressure side that is very low and will bleed fluid under loads. My solution was to connect the High pressure line to the high pressure side and flip the wiring in the controller to make up go up.
