I bought a roll of this to try in my farm shop. I've used it to make hydraulic hoses for several tractors and implements using the Parker Parkrimp fittings. All seems to be working well so far. I'll update the review if it changes.

This hose is not compatible with Gates crimp fittings. The place where we get our hoses made would not use this hose. Unfortunately it was cut to length before we realized it wouldn't work with the fittings. Nominal 1/2" hose is not always exactly 1/2". This hose has larger inside diameter and smaller outside diameter so Gates fittings cannot be guaranteed to hold.
