I purchased two at the same time.Neither one would heat up - Didn’t work at all.Also, the directions were vague and poorly written.

the blanket isn't labeled top or bottom and with no instructions I put the wire out the top for convenience. [Depending where the temp sensor is located in the blanket it could make it run more as the barrel level drops] apparently that was wrong it failed in about 9 months of use other than that it works better than some other brands that I have used. I am trying another to see if it makes a difference.

Purchase several 55-gallon drum heating blankets, but one of them caught on fire and had to call the fire department to put it out. The other heaters seem to be working great, but this one must have been defective.

I like the wrap, it seems like it will insulate well. I'm not too sure I like the temperature controller...it definitely isn't what is pictured & I can't seem to locate any manual just yet. I'll have to get back to update the review after a bit of use.
