Worked fantastic for a while, but then it broke. It gave an E1 error code, which is the same code for a clog, but even after It never started up again. Besides it breaking easily, the machine is ideal.

The number of cups setting has no basis in reality. I typically make 6 cups. Setting the grinder to that amount grinds WAY too much coffee. The 4 cup setting works for me. I didn't experiment with the timed settings. But the grinder is great. Much MUCH quieter than my previous burr grinder. I don't have to worry about waking up my wife when I make a pot. There does not appear to be a safety switch to stop you from grinding without the receptacle in place. That would make a heck of a mess, but I haven't made that mistake... yet.

This product is amazing! It's way better than I thought it would be. It's significantly better than the previous one I purchased for over 80 dollars and later returned. It's quiet, even, and there is no static.

UPDATE: Bought a 2nd one just before the price increase. I would still recommend it, even at the much higher price.Short summary:Exceeds all expectations. Build quality and especially the stainless steel grinder outperforms ceramic burr grinders in the $80+ range.Actually grinds espresso grind fine enough and consistently to get great results, even from less expensive machines AND more demanding ones.Full story:I'm a coffee nerd, but not a rich one.I have used an expensive lever machine [La Pavoni] and a commercial grinder/doser [Macap].But space considerations and repair costs led me to a more modest $199 pump espresso maker and common drip maker. Also a blade grinderExpensive espresso machines use a standard plain "portafilter" that depends on a good fine grind to produce the desirable "crema."Cheaper machines use a pressurized portafilter to help make crema. Most lower-priced pump machines come with both inserts.I have never gotten the genuine crema using any affordable grinder until now, let alone one in this price range. So if you are not looking for a $600 espresso machine and a $500 grinder, GET THIS GRINDER and whatever maker you want, even a simple steam pressure powered one. This grinder will make any one work better.Grinds for other ways of making coffee are clearly displayed, you choose how many cups to grind. It is fairly quiet and does not make mess.Note that this is not a generic import that just says "Grinder" on the box and no company. The full VEVOR address and website as well as email is on the box. This is our second product from VEVOR that exceeded our expectations. Their bread maker is the other.

I have been using this grinder for a week now. The grinder is reasonably quiet and quickly grinds the amount of beans that I need for espresso. I use setting 4. So far nothing to complain about. Very nice digital display with touch buttons. Hopefully it will last a long time.

I recently got into coffee, and was looking for a good grinder at an amazing price. From the information I gathered, if I want a fine enough grind size, I would be spending minimum $100-$200 for a decent electric burr grinder, or I can get better results for cheaper with a hand grinder. I originally purchased the Kingrinder that James Hoffman recommended on his Youtube channel, but it won't arrive for another month, so I purchased this VEVOR grinder to hold me over as it was cheap. I wasn't expecting the best results. But... this product blew me away, so many grind options, and I was shocked at how fine the espresso grind sizes can go.

I've had burr grinders in the past and I prefer that type. But for several years I've been using an automatic espresso machine that did the grinding for me. Unfortunately it died in such a way that it isn't worth repairing. Not feeling like I could afford a new automatic machine I went back to a k-cup coffee maker I'd saved. I wanted to grind my own beans to use the same coffee I'd been using the last 4 years. The Vevor was my choice and I have not been disappointed. It is easy to setup and maintain. The degree in grind adjustment is tremendous. I had fun playing with that feature until I settled on a grind that matches my coffee tastes. After 3+ months using the Vevor, I can say without hesitation that it is a great grinder (IMHO) and one that should take care of most peoples needs.

This is the best coffee grinder of all grinders I have ever owned in my life. Its smooth and virtually noise-free operation is much appreciated. I just wish its coffee bean feeding area could be designed to help uninterrupted feeding into its bar mechanism. The coffee grinder still deserves 5 stars.

I bought this coffee grinder at the beginning of October to use as an inexpensive grinder for grains. To my surprise when I used it to grind coffee it performed better than my much more expensive top of the line coffee grinder. This coffee grinder has produced a consistent cup of coffee every day since purchase. My top of the line coffee grinder produces a sometimes good cup and a sometime mediocre cup. Well done Vevor!

Nice ground no matter what setting. It's easy to use and an easy to use LED screen. Instructions to remove the bean cup is not very clear but easy to figure it out. Noise level is minimal and the bean cup and grinder cup are not air tight. The real draw back is after using in four times in a row the grinder stops and shows error message of E2. The E2 means the machine has overheated and therefore shut itself off to protectd the machine which is a good thing. The other issue is the beans do not always drop down the shoot into the grinder so you have to shake it a bit. I'll use this till it stops working and then go back to my really loud grinder that works everytime. I would not recommend this machine.

I've had this unit for about 2 weeks. I was impressed with the grind consistency, does an excellent job .Controls on front of unit are easy to use, even if you are not fully awake first thing in the morning.Noise isolation is very good. I've used several burr grinders over the years, and this is by far the least noisy. My least favorite thing about burr grinders is the mess from grinding and static clinging. What a joy not cleaning coffee dust from everything near the grinder. This machine does much better than I expected for it's price. I would order it again.

The feeder did not work on the unit. In order for it to work, only a few beans could be in the hopper and it was necessary to shake the unit for them to move into the grinding mechanism. Another disappointment is that it makes a mess - the grounds do not go neatly into the powder container... they spew all over the counter. I had read this same complaint on other reviews, but there were enough favorable comments that I dismissed them as oddballs... I wanted to like this product, but it is being returned and I'll be purchasing another.
