This is a well made heavy duty tool. It looks and functions just like the more expensive brands. The instructions weren't 100% clear but a quick YouTube video fixed that. I was able to remove the bearings on the carrier of my Dana 44 without damaging them. This was important as they had shims behind them I needed. I do have one recommendation if you purchase this tool. Put some grease on the threads of the screw before using it. There was some oil on it when it arrived but grease will help the threads last a lot longer.

I’ve cut, beat and torched many bearings over 45yrs… I finally decided while setting up a rear-end I needed something like this and did some review searching.Regardless of the brand, It seems most of these sets are from the same manufacturer? I went with the more inexpensive, But either way, I couldn’t believe the ease of pulling a bearing without tearing it up. This was a great deal. Without abuse, I think it will last me a lifetime.

i had broken a bearing splitter and a cheap bearing puller before deciding to spend the $ on this tool, my biggest regret is not buying it first. even if you only use it on one set of axles, it is worth the money. it is so fast and easy to use it is almost annoying. and remember, instead of nearly damaging your bearings and races, freeze the races and heat the bearings for a quick and painless install.

Takes the bearing right off the carrier without a problem and ensures the bearing is not damaged. I had a carrier that requires shims below bearing. No need for setup bearing, this thing takes the bearing right off in a minute. You need to watch a video on line to ensure you are using it correctly.
