Don’t waste your time or money, first thing you’ll need to do is fix it so it works, and then something else will fail… only had 3 injectors to test and it couldn’t make it through that without fail twice… absolute junk

So another reviewer noted the difficulty in finding the right adapter for his injectors yet failed to share any info on where he found one. I assume he found one because he stated it works as intended. I on the other have not found the proper adapter to test an older John Deere 2010 diesel injector. Need a male M14 or M12 x1. 5 inverse flare to a standard 7/16x20 male. Good luck. Looking for a banjo bolt that will screw into the provided M14x1. 5 or M12 x1. 5 then I could use my Standard banjo bolt through the eye of the metric inverse flare male M14 x 1.5 or M12 x 1.5. Have not found one yer. I ordered One banjo bolt for $17 bucks thought might work but the M14 x 1.5 dimension was the eyelet end of the bolt not the male end so no luck there. Got probably ³ hours total so far searching.. may end up cutting the provided double female connector tube and replace one end with a national standard nut and then flare the tubing like a propane type fitting. Not sure if this will work yet though. Wish we could reply to reviews if someone knows of an adapter please post it.

Gauge was junk out of the box won't go to zero at anytime. O ring on reservoir wouldn't seal. worked ok after repairing the problems

Great unit, especially for the price. I pop tested and adjusted the pressures on all 6 injectors for my 12v Cummins without a hitch. The guage was accurate enough to get all injectors within 2-3 bar overall. It's well built, and a lot heavier than I expected. The only issue I had was that the "shutoff valve" (fine pressure control) began leaking. I was able to replace the o-ring with one of the supplied spares and the leak was resolved. I highly recommend this unit.

As the name implies, I purchased this item to test the diesel injectors on my 1979 Ford 3600 Tractor. The DPA injection pump has a minor leak. Before removing and resealing the pump, all old mechanic provided me with this advice."Resealing your pump without testing your injectors is like taking a shower and putting on dirty socks".After chuckling a bit, I realized the wisdom in the advice. The cost of this advice was equal to the value of just (1) of my injectors.Knowing they were all serviceable and in good condition was important before tackling the pump reseal. This device did exactly what it was advertised to do.Since I'm not a full time mechanic....this devise won't see a lot of daily or even weekly use.Like many specialty tools on the market....you buy it for it's one intended purpose and you'll always have it for future use.I would certainly recommend it if you're a DIY mechanic with the knowledge to know what you're doing.
