Extremely good quality and value. The only problem is it is almost impossible to straighten out the cord as it is such heavy construction.

This power cord is EXTREMELY heavy--around 75 pounds or more I would guess. Consequently I mounted mine permanently, plugged into my transfer switch, fastened along my garage wall, then exiting through the wall to an outside hanger where it can easily be uncoiled and plugged into my generator when we lose power. It seems very rugged and weatherproof.

Very heavy cord and should have used my hand truck to move it to the garage.1. All conductors were checked for continuity2. All conductors were checked on a live circuit for proper voltage and connector wiring on both ends3. Twist and lock was checked when inserted with twist lock and center pin design.Be advised when it gets daybreak, I will use some PVC lubricant on the spin-on water protection sleeve. Cord is so heavy that it will twist the connection out of the locked position in the receptacle if you are not careful and think about what you are doing during the process4. Length is correctIssues that are easily resolved!I should have rolled out the cord like a water hose in the driveway and not pulled out the loops. It was rolled correctly at the factory with no kinks or twists. Just roll it out like you do a water hose and it will be perfect.The screw-on threaded sleeve is tight and needs to be lubed. It was cocked slightly and easily pushed back in place.Since I am using this with an inside garage receptacle near the main box, I can live without the sleeve in a worst-case situation.If you intend to put this in PVC conduit, use 1.25" or larger. Also do not do any 90-degree elbows (unless 1.5-2" and you do not need to adjust the final length in the final box location) ; instead use very large pull stations or even a small electrical panel as a pull station.It was a challenge to mount an exterior receptacle box near the interior main electrical panel with 3/6AWG with 8awg ground in a 90-elbow connected to the main panel box. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought Romex 6AWG/3 w ground and not used my elbow. That way I could have easily adjust the wire length as needed inside the main electrical panel box/wall box.Pictures at daylight!

I used this cable to hook my "Westinghouse WGen12000DF Dual Fuel Generator" using the cords N14-50P male plug to my Reliance Controls #R510A Transfer Switch using cord's female plug SS2-50 (CS6375). It did not fit smoothly at first and I thought it would not fit. Since I had also bought the "Reliance Controls LL550C 50 Amp Generator Connector (Female)" which fits very smoothly into the #R510A socket, I compared them closely and did not see much difference. After some force (more than I and the electrician would have thought) I found the plug on this Vevor cord does indeed fit into the Reliance Controls box - again it is a tight fit and needs a lot more force, at least the first time. I spent hours trying to figure this out, so hopefully this review helps someone who wonders if this extension cord will fit. Transfer switch, cord and generator worked like a charm together.

I cut a section out of it, so you dont have to. Great quality conductors inside. Real Awg6 & Awg8, thick insulatio. Best price on the market also. Buy without any concern.

I needed a long generator cord and this one fit the bill. Its heavy of course but that was expected. I purchased a support from my local hardware store that was good for up to 50 lbs. Cord is stored outside on that support, ready when I need it.

Bought it for a 50 amp generator power backup. I dd not try yet but it looks very solid and well made. Excellent customer services. The shipping carrier somehow lost the package. I contacted the vendor and within a couple of hours they shipped a new one and provided all the new shipping info and I recieved it the next day.
