I have two 14 year old sister tuxedo cats. One is a little picky but one will eat just about anything. I started off giving them each one chew. My picky cat refused to even try it. The other cat had so much difficulty trying to chew her treat that she started gagging and spit it out. She never spits out her treats. I tried cutting one up and I had difficulty getting through it with a sharp knife. Most senior cats have weaker teeth and it was impossible for her to chew it whole. When I presented her with the cut up treat she wouldn't even touch it. The smell has a strong vitamin smell so maybe that turns her off. They've both had treats with added supplements and this is the first treat that both cats refuse to eat. The texture is hard and very dense. Since most cats with joint problems are seniors a smaller soft treat would be much more appropriate.

these chews are WAY too large for cats in my honest opinion. i have one big cat and one tiny (runt of litter) cat and even the large one has a lot of trouble with these! so instead i decided to crumble these up to sprinkle on top of their food. they love the smell and taste, and it really helps make them want to eat when they're not feeling up to it.

These are good supplements for cats. They seem to enjoy the taste and take it easily.

I have a 13 year old cat who has a stiff back leg on cold or wet days. He had been jumping and climbing less recently. I picked up this joint care cat treat to see if it would help him. These treats work great for my cat and he is more active again after only a few days of treats. I give him one in the morning and one in the evening because he doesn't finish them both if I give him two at once. These are semi-soft treats and he doesn't like the texture of semi-soft treats very much. He prefers crunchy or lickable treats. In order to make this appealing to him, I dice the treat until it is in tiny pieces then mix it with a lickable treat. He loves it and has already taken to begging for it in the mornings and evenings.Since he has been taking this treat, my cat is more playful and active. He seems happier. I'm going to continue giving it to him for the foreseeable future because he seems so much better after taking it.

VetriScience is a brand I already use and trust so I was happy to try these on my kitties. The treats are made in USA and have ingredients like green-lipped mussel and chondroitin that are specific to joint issues. The company has gone to the extent of getting a National Animal Supplement Council seal on their packaging, which shows their commitment to a quality product. All three kitties really loved the flavor and they ate them without hesitation. Usually cats are picky, so that was a pleasant surprise. One kitty in particular is old and has back leg and hip problems; he has difficulty getting up and down to his favorite perches. He's the one that will get this supplement every day. If it appears to help him, I will certainly continue. The value however, is the only reason I removed one star... at two treats a day for an initial period of one month, there is only a 15-day supply in the bag. One bag doesn't go very far.UPDATE: I actually did purchase this item a second time. I have noticed a slight improvement in my kitty's walking that makes me think these treats are actually benefitting him.

After noticing that our 12-year-old cat was starting to slow down and seemed less enthusiastic about jumping up to her favorite spots, we decided to try VetriScience GlycoFlex Plus Chondroitin Joint Support supplements. We've been using this product for a few weeks now, and the difference is actually pretty visable! Our cat is noticeably more agile and seems to move with much less discomfort. The supplements come in a form that she accepts without any fuss, which is a huge plus as she can be quite picky with her food. We simply mix it into her wet food, and she eats it all up without any issues. The ingredients list reassures me that we are providing her with high-quality nutrients designed specifically for joint health. The chondroitin and glucosamine are well-known for their benefits to joint function, and it's clear they are working for our cat.

I have been feeding this joint supplement to my 16 years old kitty for about 5 days now, here is some feedback from me:One bag contains 30 chews, and each chew has a little fish shape which looks cute to me. According to the directions on the bag, you give 2 chews per 10 lbs of body weight, daily for the initial 4-6 weeks. My cat is only 7 lb, so I give 1 chew a day to her. So the whole bag will last one month for my cat.As a 16 years old senior cat, my cat is slowing down a lot and she does walk like an old lady. And she also has a very sensitive stomach, which is also typical for senior cats. So far, after 5 days feeding, she hasn't vomited at all after eating this joint supplement, so I think she can handle this supplement. She does like the flavor of the supplement, every time when I feed her, she digs in right away. I do break the chew into small pieces for her before feeding, the size of the chew is too big for her to eat.So far after 5 days feeding, she is still walking as her usual. This type of supplement, I am sure you have to feed for a while before seeing some noticeable difference. Since she likes the supplement and it doesn't cause sad stomach for her neither, I will continue feeding her this supplement. 30 days is about 4 weeks, I will see if this supplement helps her joint or not after finishing the whole bag.

Cats just smell these and walk away. Waste of money
