Im a terrible pet parent. Vet recommended some pain meds and I try these for my cat's limping (I think he jumped off the counter and hurt humself, but he's 9 years old, not quite senior but 16 lbs is heavy to be jumping on) before I take him back for X-rays if the limping persists. My orange boy is notorious for getting into food layed out and I still forgot to put these away. Day 2 I had to go buy them wet food, so when I got back, more half the bag was gone.. well at least I know he likes them.Added pic of the culprit. Will update if it makes him sick in case anyone else is curious if their kitties get into it too.

I started giving this to my cat a few years ago. I used to not give it to him regularly but he just turned 11 and thought it would be a good idea if he got it more frequently. My cat has no joint problems currently so I'm giving it to him as a preventative measure. I was honestly worried he wouldn't even like these because they smell really weird. I personally think they smell gross but thankfully he doesn't! Vetriscience is a good brand and makes quality products.

I ordered this for my 18 year old cat that is having trouble jumping up and down from couches and beds. After a week and a half she jumped up on the bed without having to ask.I honestly think she was a little depressed at losing her independence and I believe her mood has returned to normal. Partly because she is more comfortable and able to go where she wants. I am so happy. Are you sure humans can't use as well?

UPDATE: it worked really well, but after starting the second package he wasn't big on eating them anymore, too bad because they were helping a lot.I've got a 17 year old cat who I had noticed took a long time to get in his sitting position, as well as having a much higher squat in the litter box. I first tried T-Relief pet arthritis that has a bunch of herbs in a small pill form, but it didn't seem to have much effect on his issues.I sent away for this and received it 10 days ago and I have already seen a difference in him. He isn't sleeping as much and seems to like his 'treats' as long as I break them up in about 4 pieces. I see in comments that some people have received hard treats, or that they harden up quickly, but that hasn't been my experience... although it's only been 1 1/2 weeks. My boy even comes in to remind me if I've forgotten. I started out for the first day or two just giving him one/day just to make sure they sat well with him. After that I've been giving him one in the morning and another about 2 hours after his dinner. The last two days he has been squatting lower in his potty, so hopefully he keeps liking the taste of this stuff.Since it's only been 10 days, I'll update in a month or two as to how it's going

My cat is 9 years old and has arthritis (diagnosed by our vet) in a back leg. When she was young, she would jump up on the washer at feeding time. We were a multi cat household then and she liked eating in private. As she aged, she had difficulty making the jump, so we put a stool next to the washer, which worked for a couple of years. When our last cat passed from old age, I moved her food to the laundry room floor, because she seemed uncomfortable making the leap to the stool and up to the washer. I was in search mode to find her something to give her relief. I found some CBD chews and tried those before ordering this product. She wouldn't touch them at all. I ended up donating them to the art studio cat who would eat them and they do help with her issues. However, after reading several reviews on this joint support product, I gave it a chance. My cat has no teeth due to another health issue, so I was thrilled that, after breaking these treats in half, she would eat them. They have a strong smell that seems attractive to her, they also break in half easily and are soft enough for her to eat them. After 2 weeks of giving her 1 treat per day, she is hopping up on the stool and onward to the washer several times a day to beg for treats. She still has a limp when she walks, but obviously feels much better. These have provided her with a much better quality of life and I'll continue buying them. I highly recommend them for aging cats that have compromised joints.

I am 17 1/2 years young and weigh a whole 6lbs. I am very picky too! mom bought me these because I can't create havoc as I used too. My joints are sore, and it made me depressed. In one week, I am like new! I am racing around without limping and can jump high again. The best part, they are very tasty, and I express myself very vocally when I know mom is giving me some!

Have senior cat with arthritis who stopped jumping some 2 months ago. After 2 weeks of these, there is a slight improvement and she is actually trying to jump on the furniture now, not using the ramp. After only 2 weeks, I think that is quite impressive. The only minus is that treat is quite hard and the cat is missing some teeth, so have to cut it and squish it, but otherwise, I'll be definitely get a subscription on this.......Edit Dec 31: Just went to order more and the price went up almost $10. On Dec 10 it was $ 31 and now it is $ 39.99.... Edit Jan 14: bag said 60 chews. After 3 weeks of 2 per day, the bag is empty so there was at least 15 treats less. I still think the product is good but quite annoyed about the price and false advertising.

I waited a few weeks after administering this to my cat in order to provide a clear and useful review. My 14 year old toothless cat Teddy loves these (thank goodness!) and now comes running when he hears the bag being picked up. I cut the treat into about 9 small slices and he gobbles them right down. His younger sister (3 yrs old) always comes running at that time and wants some too, so I end up giving her something else more age appropriate for her. They both wolf their treats down and are happy, and so am I!As to the efficacy of this product for my 14 year old cat, previously he was getting stiff and groaning whenever he would get up and also whenever I would pick him up. He walked with very stiff legs. He also sometimes missed when jumping up from the floor to the couch, and pretty much stayed in one place all day. I've been giving him one treat daily (he's 9 pounds) and after a week or so, he stopped groaning when getting up from a nap or when we picked him up. He hasn't missed on a jump from the floor to the couch since about the second week, and is walking less stiffly. He's a Persian and a very, very laid back cat who was never one for running much, or doing anything particularly energetic. But the other day I heard cat feet galloping in from the kitchen to the living room (we have wood floors) where I was sitting. I assumed it was my younger cat but no, it was my 14 year old who ran into the room! Of course he laid right down and went to sleep (as he does) but it made me happy to see this improvement. My vet also is familiar with these and says she has seen good results in other cats. I will continue giving these to him as they seem to work pretty well and I am grateful for the improvement and obvious lessening of pain for him!
