I have a diabetic cat and we have to do insulin BID. I have tried a few different types of needles. These ones are not bad. For best results you do need to pull back and insert air to minimize the amount of air when drawing up.The cat does not notice when we do the injection with these needles. We have used a brand before where he did notice.

Good quality syringes for a fair price. I've seen these used in Canada for many years for small animal vet clinics. I've started using these here in the US and am satisfied with them.

The cap did not pull off and had to be twisted off. This left rough pieces of the cap on the syringe. Also, the plunger was impossible to draw. It took me forever to draw up the dosage. I decided not to give the insulin to my dog. If it took that long to draw up, how long would it take to administer. I used one syringe and she yelped. I have to wonder if the needles are dull too.
