One of the very best wound/skin care products. Looks like water (!) but is amazing at healing. Doesn't sting and not 'goopy' or greasy. I use it on myself also.

I wish I had taken a before/after picture to prove how much this product helped my dog! We have no see ums, yeah who knew. Moved from N to S and I am learning. These bugs bite you and really sting but you don't see a bite. For people you can peroxide the area and have restraint waiting for the sting to subside. For dogs I personally believe this makes them bite until raw which then is deemed a 'hot spot'. That is my assessment. The vet gave me a product that, eh, stings when sprayed on my dog and he looks in pain.I tried an OTC antibiotic with a wrap but he kept finding time to expose and lick it raw again. No collar works because the spot is low on the leg. I was thinking the tube of a sock but then found this product with rave reviews. Thank you reviewers!! I knew this is a Summer thing and will be constant so I wanted to find a cure all and I think I did!I sprayed on the wound and Fletch did feel the sting but the reaction was not as intense by any means as the other vet product. The second amazing thing was that within hours, no lie, the red, raw wound had no redness at all! Yes, there is a small area that has to scab over and heal but honestly it has been a few days and he is not bothering it like he did before and I am confident it will now heal.I spray while we are outside and I have small treats as a distraction when it stings so he won't immediately lick it. I walk with him to also let the spray penetrate. Great product!!!

Disclaimer: Any time your pet (cat, dog, rat, horse, any critter) shows new problematic behaviors, step #1 is a trip to the vet! Most common complaints are symptoms of health issues! Only a professional can medically diagnose & treat your pet!My cat has separation anxiety & her two "nervous behaviors" are peeing outside the litterbox & self-licking. We managed to fix the peeing (mainly on the sofa) with special litter & calming treats. However, her over-grooming was still an issue. She always licks one spot on the inside of her leg, to the point where she's licked the fur & skin off to create a raw wound the size of a quarter. No infection, no allergies, just anxiety. Benadryl made the apparent itchiness go away, but also made her sleepy & she goes right back to licking when it wears off. Neosporin & Cortisone cream didn't work because she would just obsessively clean the wound even more. I even tried "natural" non-toxic options & nothing worked. I needed something painless & safe that she wouldn't want to lick. My vet suggested a simple saline solution, so I searched around until I found this brand specifically for animals. It has an antiseptic and electrolyzed water. Well I'm glad to say IT REALLY WORKS! I sprayed directly onto her wound a few times & dabbed with a clean cloth twice a day for about 2 weeks. It only took ONE application to notice a difference. I kept checking on her wound & continued applications until it fully healed, which took a bit of time since fur grows back slowly. Now she has no wound, no scab, no scar, nothing left to indicate there was a 2 yr long battle over this problem that NOTHING else fixed! Not to mention I still have 90% of the bottle left! I'm keeping this around for future issues ;)
