Been about 2 weeks. Still waiting to see how this works on tartar buildup but it has already improved the breath of both my pups.

We love the ease of using dental powders for our doggos and were previously using a different, more expensive brand. After researching the Vet's Best powder, we realized it is WAY cheaper per serving with simple, natural ingredients. We've had good luck with other Vet's Best products in the past, so we decided to give it a shot. So far, we've been very pleased. The dogs seem to really enjoy the flavor and their breath is less smelly than it was with the product we were previously using. It's too early to see a difference in tartar, but we're very happy so far!

I was a bit nervous to give this to my dogs, I just want to make sure it’s made of good quality. But they finished the kelp powder within about a month with no issues. It’s helped my dogs teeth a bit but I think the consistent use of it would impact their teeth much more. I gave them the recommended amount each morning and added it to their food.

I was thinking this tiny bag wouldn't last long more than a few days with my big dogs, but pleasantly surprised. This would last awhile with a single small dog. It comes with a tiny little scoop and the dose for my dogs is 3 scoops by their weight. I started them off with one just to ensure no tummy upset, and they seemed to handle it fine so slowly increasing how much I'm adding to their food. The powder has a little bit of a fishy odor but it doesn't carry over to my dogs breath -which is a bit fresher now.

This seems to help freshen up my dog's breath. I try to brush her teeth as often as I can, but it's one of those things that always falls low on the to-do list. If I'm rushing through the day, it's super easy to just add this Vet's Best Dental Powder to her food.My dog has a sensitive stomach, so I'm very cautious about adding new food/supplements. I have a 70lb GSD, and I started out with less than a half a scoop and gradually increased from there. She's right on the border of the weight division, so I'm fine with only giving her 2 scoops to stretch the powder out a bit.Even with gradually increasing the amount of dental powder, I still noticed some minor stomach upset--some gas and slightly runny stools, but nothing too bad. If your dog has a very sensitive stomach, I suggest doing the same. After she had it about 5 times, the stomach upset was unnoticeable.I still suggest brushing whenever possible, but this dental powder is good for in between cleanings.

This stuff does work, and I love the brand itself as they’ve always had products that worked well. But the bag is extremely small, and I had no idea. I have two large dogs and this bag wouldn’t even last me three days at the recommended dose.
