This Vestil E-3030 Economizer dock plate bridges the gap between a truck and loading dock to allow access for hand trucks, pallet trucks, and foot traffic. It is made of an aluminum alloy for light weight and resistance to corrosion and has a 5,200-lb. capacity. It is 1/2" in thickness for added strength and has a non-skid raised treadplate pattern for safety. It has bolt-on zinc-plated legs and lifting handles on each side for portability and beveled edges on the ends for a smooth transition. This dock plate is 30" in length, with a 30" usable width, and a 4" height differential. The bend has an 11 degree angle and is located 9" from the edge. Not for use with forklifts.

The edges of this thing are SHARP. You would think they would dull the edges but no, we had to take a file to them to dull them so no one would cut themselves open when handling. It's bizarre how sharp the edges are. Then the bolts are too large - we had to take a saw to them to cut them down. Not a fan. If you don't have the tools on hand to make these refinements, don't buy this.

Appears to be a "normal" dock plate. Handles arrived 3 hours before the plate.... Carriage bolts came with it to bolt them together, too bad it has round holes. I guess that is why they call it "economizer"

The part came on time. heavy enough to do the job. Not to heavy to move. Looks like it will last a long time.Would buy this one again.
