This is actually fun for adults and kids. I could see this as a fun activity for a sports camp or sports team.... Even a gym. It is a great way to menasure and push yourself to do better. The trickiest part is finding.something stable to attach it to so your measurement is more accurate.

This vert tester is heavy duty and accurate! The wall mounted system allows this tester to be installed anywhere there is a wall, but be aware of the ground underneath. We installed this on the back of our garage, where the kids could test their vertical jump and see their improvement. We did some construction work on our home and had to remove some concrete to replace some wall anchors. The hole was inadvertently hidden by a tarp and, well the vert tester is now being leased to the nearby high school. The vertical tester is accurate and well-built to last for years through many youth trying to better their vertical leap. The included reset bar is very handy as well as the height adjustment points.

This is just laying in a corner in our game room because my husband got frustrated trying to assemble and install it. I am honestly not even sure if it has all the pieces so that could be the problem. The image shown in the listing is kind of misleading. We’re not sure where we will be able to put it up if we ever mess with it again. I think for the price it should include some sort of stand and it definitely should include better instructions no matter what. It’s just overpriced for what it includes in my opinion

Intuitive design, decent quality, simple to reset:This product is pretty intuitive to use and doesn't require a huge amount of assembly to set up. The instructions are complete but aren't written very clearly, but the only assembly required is based on piecing together the larger pieces, and all the individual measuring sticks come fully assembled on the head of the product - this makes piecing together the product much more intuitive and you can rely less on the instructions as a result. The quality of the metal and durability of the product are more than adequate for normal use, and I can't see this thing breaking or falling unless grabbed onto by a jumper. Resetting the set is also pretty easy, as it comes with a lightweight pole that can be used to fit the measurers back into place in just a few seconds. I will mention though that the measurements all use the metric system, so if you're expecting measurements in inches, you'll have to convert them yourself.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I was really looking forward to getting this because I do personal training and want to better measure the vertical jump that my clients have but when I received it it was more complicated than it needed to be to assemble. Additionally it looks like it wasn't a complete product either. It doesn't have the stand nor does it have the police system to help facilitate getting the markers back to the measuring position. On top of the fact that I was missing a lot of pieces to the product it also was challenging to put together because the instruction page was so small and hard to read. I have relatively good vision but still struggled seeing all the numbers and directions on the page.

Some of the small parts were missing from the box, making it impossible to assemble without a trip to the hardware store. Considering the price point involved, this is unacceptable. The instructions provided do not do much to help assemble the project.

The instructions were printed so small the only person in our house with eyesight good enough to read them was our 10 year old. We were having trouble communicating which parts went where and how. So I went and got a magnifying glass. Turns out we were missing five parts. Not nuts, bolts, or washers, but all of the parts used to reset the measuring sticks. I went back and looked at the pictures of the product and you can clearly see the parts in the product photos. We decided to keep the product and just use a broom to reset the measuring sticks. Other than not having the reset function everything else works fine.
