I absolutely love this vest!The battery back is a bit heavier than I expected, but still quite small, and is in its own inner pocket. It holds enough charge to use the vest for a few hours on medium power. So far, I've not needed to have it on high power, and even medium is too much most of the time. With the reflective lining in the vest, sometimes I don't even need to turn on the heat at all, or can turn it on just for the burst of heat, and then turn it off for a while, so I can go a few days between charges. That being said, the coldest it's been this year is about 20 degrees fahrenheit, and the average temp I use this in is probably about 40 degrees F.I appreciate the adjustable elastic cord in the bottom hem, to keep the cold air out. It works great under my fleece jacket or a windbreaker, to keep from having to wear a bulky coat in the winter. It feels durable, although I have not yet laundered it. It has a nice, smooth zipper. It's a longer hip length, so it sticks out under my jackets when they're zipped, which is a little awkward looking, so I'd probably be interested in a shorter version, if they ever make them. The pockets are generous, and it heats up in front of the pockets, which I love for cold hands. The elements in the high neck keep me comfortable during walks on cold, windy days. I'm happy that I bought the vest version, so I can wear it just over a long sleeve tee, with or without a jacket over it, for more versatility in our changeable PNW climate.If this vest ever stops working, I'll be looking to buy another one.

I bought this heated vest for my wife as a Christmas gift, and she absolutely loves it! This is her second Venustas product, and both have exceeded expectations. The vest heats up quickly, provides consistent warmth, and is lightweight enough to wear all day without feeling bulky.Pros:Fast Heating & Great Coverage: The multiple heat zones, including the neck, make a big difference in keeping her warm.Lightweight & Versatile: She can wear it comfortably indoors or layer it under a jacket for extra warmth on colder days.Durable & Well-Made: The quality of the material, sturdy zipper, and overall design make it feel like a premium product.Long Battery Life: While it takes a bit of time to charge, it lasts for hours, especially when using the lower settings after the initial heat-up.Cons:Sizing Runs a Little Small: I’d recommend ordering one size up for the best fit.Battery Takes a While to Charge: Best to charge overnight for all-day use.Overall, this was a fantastic purchase, and my wife couldn’t be happier with it. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality heated vest, this one is definitely worth considering.Would definitely buy again!

I purchased this vest as I am always outdoors in the winter. I as noted by others had issues with the battery, both the position and the battery life. I might add that I purchased another heated vest. I alternated the two vests and noted the battery on the venustas vest did not last as long. I contacted venustas regarding this issue. They immediately sent me a replacement battery. I would recommend this vest for the warmth and comfort. And with confidence that with the ease of contacting the company and having them address my concern exceeded my expectations.Thank you venustas for making the cold more bearable....but I do live in Canada

2nd UPDATE: (12/28/24)This company is truly incredible! They offered endless help troubleshooting and didn't stop until the issue was resolved. The service they provided was far beyond my expectations. They truly cared about the customer being satisfied and that is so rare in corporations today. I cannot recommend giving this company your business enough, it'll be a great decision you'll be glad you made and you'll be more than satisfied with both the products and service!UPDATE: (12/16/24)I contacted the company regarding the problem, they replied within 24 hours and are currently working on resolving the issue. I will let you know the conclusion as soon as I know!The vest itself is very comfortable and stylish. I love the fit. The battery does not seem to work properly. The vest turned off after a few minutes of wearing it, I turn it on, it goes off again. The battery is fully charged and securely connected, so I don't understand the problem. I'm going to keep it because I like the vest even without the heating feature. It's comfortable and I hate returning things. It's definitely durable and lightweight, yet warm. Zippers are smooth. It sure is the most expensive vest I own, and I'm sure it would be worth the money if the battery worked properly, but mine in particular did not. For that reason only, I deducted 2 stars, since the heat element is the reason I purchased it.

The vest has been great! Absolutely love it. Love is so much we purchased a second…The battery pack on the other hand didn’t last. Within the few months of use the pack would not hold a charge and we’d only get an hour ½ on medium. The customer service department was a treat and very professional to work with. Quick responses to my messages with solutions. This is why I purchased a second vest as they truly care and accept responsibility for their products. Now both my wife and I are able to enjoy our heated vests.

I am so happy with this vest. It was actually too warm to use on a -26 day snowboarding, it was perfect the same temperature for dogsledding. It is a really comfortable fit and a nice design.
