Got this to hold phones and circuit boards while I worked on them! It is super sturdy and it came really well packaged! The color is good and it fits a variety of my boards with no issue at all! It is super easy to use and I recommend!

The framework is metal. The brackets are light blue plastic and they tighten to the frame with thumb screws. One of the screws that secured one of the brackets is too short. It won't screw in. I'm searching for a longer screw.

I use this at my electronics repair bench and it has been pretty good so far. Feels fairly nicely constructed and holds smaller boards well for rework. I do like the ability to keep the work piece firm in the jaws and spin it to work both sides easily, but the thumb screws that keep the sliding arms tight to the bottom metal bar are not adequate to keep full tension on the work piece if you have to apply much pressure to it. They often will allow the arms to slide apart and I have to press them back toward the center and retighten the thumb screws. I would consider this a pretty light duty tool but with that expectation set, it does serve its function well.

I bought this device for a couple projects. I am assembling a lot of small panels and this unit works well for that. It allows me to flip the panel as I put in fasteners for the components. It make that job easier and cuts the assembly time in half (at least) The next project I have is replacing batteries on circuit boards. This device will hold the PCB exactly how I need it. Much cheaper that some of the PCB vices. If you only do occasional projects of this nature, you should get one of these. As a bonus, they also break down for storage.

Really nothing special. Fairly cheaply made even though it's presented in a very nice box, it's just not very sturdy. It's also very light weight and floats around on the bench way more than I would like. Still handy for smaller boards. Just built with too much plastic.
