I am so glad that we took a chance on this inexpensive little table for our kitchen dining area. It looks great, it is sturdy, and it was easy to put together. It also shipped quickly. The table top finish is lighter than it appears in the listing photo and it is a distressed grayish whitish finish with the natural wood showing through, which is perfect. The heavy metal base is a weathered blackish brown. I will add a photo to this review after the French style X-back dining chairs arrive that we ordered for the table from Amazon.
