I chose this item because the main parts were stainless steel, while others were plastic - something I paid a premium for. However, it did not live up to my expectations. It did work well for dicing onions and cauliflower, but not for broccoli or radishes. I found that even the largest slicing blade gave me cucumber that was too thin for my liking. Although the product page warned that you needed to rock the dicing blades for larger items, it's a lot of work. Finally, using this required so much more work than simply getting out a knife or two and getting the job done, especially since there was also a lot of extra clean up. In the end, using it was far less convenient than not. It was simply more work with less than ideal (my normal) results, and I needed more storage space for it all. Meh.

I’ll start with the good. Item is stable and seemed sturdy. The blades in the food dicer were sharp and worked very well, making chopping extremely quick. I was thinking… where has this been my entire life.Now the bad. I got a whopping two uses out of this. The second time, I was chopping halved carrots. Not thick by any means and I had cut them into approximately 2 inch pieces. Pulled down on the lever and boom, a blade on the dicer is hanging off and there was slight damage to the plastic presser. Wasn’t a lot of pressure and was completely disappointed. I paid for this item specifically for the durability. It is now in the trash can because I’d prefer there not to be razor sharp pieces of metal in my food. Back to the knife and cutting board.

Love the weight! Very stable . Wish the bin was attachable to the underside when chopping , but would definitely recommend.

This is a great chopper easy chopping this chopper should last a lifetime I had bought several choppers over the years due to the lid to the chopper breaking which make it unuseable but this chopper there's no danger of that hapening very easy to use over all it's just wonderful and great pricing also,you just can't go wrong buying this product.

I was using a very out-dated vegetable chopper where I had to pound down hard to chop even the tiniest piece of carrot or celery. This chopper is made of stainless steel and I can chop vegetables quickly using one hand by just pushing the handle down. The base has suction cups so it does not move and a large clear catch basin that holds the chopped vegetables. It is a very convenient kitchen utensil.

I was excited to see this chopper online. It’s just what I wanted, so I purchased it with no online reviews. It just arrived. This veg chopper seems very well made.All accessory items are made with a strong plastic. The main stainless steel fuselage seems like a good quality, heavy duty, stainless steel.The underside of the fuselage edges are a bit sharp so beware and handle with care. I purchased a small roll of rubber edging to protect from sharp edges. Works great!The blades are fine. To reduce wear, be sure to slice your vegetables before placing them on the blades.I also plan to purchase extra blades.

This chopper makes dicing veggies quick and easy. Solid construction. I have had the plastic ones on the past but the plastic does crack if you use them frequently. This metal one will last much longer. Plus it can be used as a mandolin slicer as well. Good value for the price.

chops everything very well. easy to use. good size cutter area. blade options are sufficient. however, DO NOT cut prunes or any large nut fruits. the blades are fragile and will bend or break off immediately. the replacement blades can be had here for $10
